On November 29th, 2022, I, Leased a 2015 Freightliner. I've spoken to ******* months before leasing from her so she could have been expecting me to follow up with my word; so the first week having the truck I had to take it to a shop, because while driving it felt like the wheels were going left while I was turning the steering wheel right and id hear and feel a loud popping sound coming from underneath the truck right tire passenger side while driving down route * interstate .So i took it to a repair shop and to make a long story short, they told me the truck should not be in service and really only allowed me to take the truck away was because they wanted no parts of business with its conditions. i tookit to STUTLER for the repairs and all they did was tighten up the rusty bolts on the axle where in the same assembly the bolts had worn out the metal that it attached to. the entire front end of the truck was shot and very dangerous, i could have killed and hurt people driving that vehicle. I gave her 3,000 a week prior to 3,000 the following week to complete the process. i was in the process of acquiring my motor carrier authority and the truck was the last step. this has been a very expensive process and i feel like i was put in a hard place and is a victim of wrongdoing. i spent all my hard-earned money to pursure a dream and a carrer, im not rich and had to start making money immediately. i took the truck back in the same condition that they gave it to me. the truck was in the shop 3 time in the month ive had it and right after i go it from STUTLER supposed to be fixing it the truck broke down on me a i feel like the mechanics that so called did nothing did a real fix me upper. tire was hammered to put a deep puncher into the tire, was never there prior its really so much about this but i think after all ive been though with this death trap i deserve my security deposit back.

    Complaint response.

We bring our trucks into the shop, inspect them and make needed repairs every time they are returned from a customer. The complaint of the handling of this truck was simply that the steering axle has air ride suspension and the driver has not driven a truck with air ride front suspension.  The bolts that were tightened are u-bolts, and they did not need to be replaced, nor were the holes in the saddle worn.  There was/is no safety issue with the front end of this truck and no parts need to be replaced. The "break downs"  were in fact, not break downs. The first time the customer brought the truck to us was for the complaints of handling and a popping noise. The second time was because the truck was due for a service. When the truck was returned to our facility the interior was covered in mud and the customer did not fill the fuel or DEF.

As far as his first month's deposit and Security deposit, both have been deducted from his final bill. However, because he did not fuel the truck or fill the DEF and has some other charges (toll charges and IFTA)  at the end of the day, he will owe us money.

I am rejecting this response because:

I don’t owe them anything more than I have given them. I knew they was not going to give me anything back from what I’ve paid them.
