    This business is awful. They are overpriced and underperform. They remodeled my bathroom and provided a "lifetime" warranty. Things began to fall apart 2 weeks after the remodel. The "mold free silicone based caulking" has mold on it. Baseboards superating from the wall. Faucet handles falling off. The warranty costs $175 to come out and look at problems and then additional fees to fix them.

    Well I have a warranty with this company,I have had problems with the remodeling they did in my kitchen,things are falling apart, and now I have called and They still answer as Thiels but ofcourse they are out of business permanently. So many companys are saying they went out of business and just changed there name,this is so frustrating,when you count on a company that is a family owned and had good reviews,one I have to pay again to have these things fixed,,,Dont do any business with this company.

    All I can say is that they did a horrible job remodeling my bathroom. I spent 10k and had to have everything redone by a different company. Several contractors and plumbers saw their work and all basically said that whoever did it did not know what they were doing. Worst part is that I am still paying off the loan for their awful job.

    A few years ago, ******* Remodeling came in my house to remodel my kitchen. The were to replace all my drawers and create a new under the sink cabinet. They removed my dishwasher. When they reinstalled it, there was a leak at that time. They didn't inform me that the drain out was damaged. I had mold behind my dishwasher and they didn't tell me or try to replace the material (which was in my contract). When I found out what they did I was livid and called the company. I told them I knew what they did - they covered up the problem, instead of installing material to fix the problem. Another problem was with the drawer. They fouled that up and now I can't get my utensil drawer to work. The racks fell apart. They nailed the racks in, instead of installing them correctly with screws. I'm going to let their finance company know of their shoddy work and how they don't cover their materials or workmanship. Shame on you *******.

    ******* used to be owned by the ******* brothers, who started their business selling and installing replacement windows. From there they expanded to other home businesses. When I spoke to the representatives telling them that we enjoyed the windows they installed 30+ years ago in another house we owned, NOT A SINGLE REP. corrected my assumption that it was still owned by *******. They sold the business to some gutter company, DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER buying windows from this company. They are nearly impossible to contact when there is a problem. The installation was a disaster (it looks like the contractor used cheap tape to finish the window frames!), so after spending nearly $25K, I am now faced with finding a company to remove these windows and install new ones. The windows and installation are an embarrassment to us and have devalued our house considerably (until we get the damage undone by a RESPONSIBLE contractor)!

    This is the worst thing to happen to me with a home improvement project, My sales guy tried to charge $7650 for a door and screen, when I asked him to leave he miraculously came up with the price of $3690 instead. I had to wait 8 weeks just to get the door custom made (wait for it) I was guaranteed a 1 day install. My install was scheduled at 1 p.m. on a wednesday. I took a 1/2 day vacation for it. They didn't show until 4:30. So I took vacation I didn't need. 3 1/2 hours late. Sure enough, they didn't have time to finish. It was now 9 at night and they didn't have the equipment they needed to finish. When I expressed my anger at this, one of the three guys that came out to install started verbally abusing me. keep in mind that I am a single 57 year old woman with three guys here to install my door. I have every right to express my mind. He told me that if I say one more word they were going to leave and my screen door would not be secured and blowing in the wind. That is exactly what they did. Then I had to take the next day off to finish the door which cost me a days pay of $433.79. They sent the same verbally abusive guy back to my house. When I had to fill out the checkoff sheet and tried to look at my screen/storm door he stepped in front of me and wouldn't let me inspect the job. I was afraid to provoke him to abuse me again so I checked it off. Sure enough, he installed the screen wrong and it won't close. I called the project director who sent some one out. He thinks a stronger PSI shock will fix it though. (?) I asked him to show me how the screen/storm windows work and he discovered that they were installed backwards at the factory. I'm still waiting on a solution.

    The sale and presentation of a bathroom remodel went effectively and we were convinced this was a good choice. The price kept coming down as we hedged, as this was our first contact with a remodeler. We finally agreed to proceed, knowing there was a 72 hour cancellation clause.SURPRISE, we liked another option better, cancelled the contract mid day on day 2, and then the fun began. No one returned phone calls, not the salesman, not a VP of sales, not the switchboard, NO ONE!!When calling a service line, all I got was voicemail...and no answers. Finally, I asked for service on an existing installation, and got someone. She was gracious and attempted to help, but here we are, 5 weeks later, and still no refund. This is probably a good product, but once the sale is done, do not hold your breath that you will get support....they are on to the next sale.

    Had an in home quote for shower. Waited to decide. Two weeks later we were contacted by Operation manager reaching out to make a deal. I questioned that the price included the custom base since I knew it was an additional cost. We agreed to the price via texts and emails and agreed to set up time to sign contract. The morning of that appointment, we get an email from operations manager stating Im sorry the price is about $2000 more and we fired that sales guy.So glad I didnt actually sign a contract with them! What happened to quotes being in good faith? How is this possible to change something that the original salesperson agreed to with an additional 10% off from said operations manager!? Then to have the operations manager call to get the deal, agree to the deal then change terms? Ridiculous

    I just got a new shower installed in my bathroom from Thiel's Home Solutions. From sales to installation the entire experience was very good. Kinda, the sales person was very helpful and professional and ***** the installer did a great job! It looks great.

    Just had our cabinets refaced. Our old ones were oak and had been there for 20 years. Our new ones are white shaker and we are in love with them. We had a new kitchen in less than 2 days. They were in and out. Very nice and respectful. Cleaned up their mess. Definitely recommend!
