    I reserved a King Suite room. Upon arrival, the front desk attendant was very nice, if not a bit quirky. Unfortunately the room was smokey and not properly equipped: The pull-out sofa-bed had no bedding at all. No sheets, no blankets, no pillows. The king bed had only two thin sheets. The desk attendant was super friendly, but had no housekeeping supplies to help us out. Neither the night desk attendant, nor the morning desk attendant was able to do anything to make things right. I asked both about discounts, they said I'd have to talk to the manager. The manager was supposed to be there at 8am when we checked out, but was not present. I contacted the hotel through the Wyndham website and received no response from either Wyndham nor the hotel, aside from what appears to be an automated response.

    My family stayed at the Days Inn in Austintown, OH on August 5, 2023. We reserved a suite with 2 double beds and one pull-out sofa bed for $207. When we arrived, the suite room had banquet furniture in it and a pull-out sofa bed that had no bedding or pillows with it or anywhere in the room. The toilet was clogged and toilet handle was broken. There was no telephone to call the front desk so I walked (with trepidation since the area didn't seem safe) to the front desk and requested bedding. The receptionist told me there were no pillows available and no blankets or bedspreads and had no solution to offer me. In the morning, we went to the breakfast that was supposedly included, only to find that the only offerings were granola bars, instant oatmeal and cereal. The coffee machine was broken and the juice machine was working but only dispensing water, not orange juice. (I took photos of these.) When I told the attendant that I'd like to speak to a manager about the situation of not providing bedding and the fact that the room had plumbing problems, he told me that there was nothing he could do for me and noted, "We don't even have coffee in the breakfast room!" I would expect something like this if we had paid $75. But this was a $180 reservation, which, with tax, cost over $200. On Aug. 6, 2023 I emailed the local manager seeking a $100 reduction to compensate for the dreadful accommodations, involving both a clogged toilet and no pillows or bedding for one of the beds we reserved. On the same date I also sent a version of the same complaint and request to the online customer service inquiry form on the Days Inn Wyndham website. I did not receive a response. I then tried calling Days Inn Customer Service but repeatedly was disconnected before reaching an agent. I then sent a letter in the mail to the corporate address of Days Inn Wyndham on August 14, 2023. I received no response whatsoever.
