            Bait and switch land advertisement and parcel sales. Jeff D****** sold a parcel to my mother and me through the Landmodo website as an owner-financed parcel. The pictures used to advertise the property were not of the actual property or surrounding area. When asked for pictures of the parcel, Jeff sent along more pictures, none of which were of the actual property. When pressed where they were taken he admitted he did not take the pictures and did not know what they were or where on the property. When we visited the property, the land was starkly different from the pictures he sent, his pictures showed lovely meadows and tall pine trees. The truth was desolate desert and cacti with a deep ravine that prevented the use of the bulk of the acreage from the access road without an expensive bridge being constructed. When asked he claimed it was a "season creek." His claims were deceptive and his pictures fraudulent. I hope other potential buyers can be warned of his actions.

            Jeff D****** was very helpful in my decision to buy a piece of property from him. He took all the time I needed to answer all of my questions. Jeff is knowledgeable in what he sells and is very upright. I believe that Jeff is an honest an caring person. I highly recommend Jeff Dettmer when it comes to buying property regardless of the size. Thanks again Jeff. I am enjoying my new property that is away from the city life.
