This company reached out to me originally on 6/24 regarding a positive balance I had with their office. At that time I requested verification of the debt. The gentleman I spoke with said that he would email this to me. He also said the client would not allow for a payment plan and payment would need to be made in full. I did not set up a payment as I did not receive email verification of the debt. I received another call on 7/1 from the company stating I still had a positive balance with their office. Upon asking the gentleman for verification of the debt he refused. I shared with him that he is required by law to provide me with verification of the debt upon my request. He again refused saying that “it takes work to put that information together”. Also they shared with me the client they are trying to collect for us **** **** *****. I was informed this is a company owned by ******* *******. I reached out to both **** **** ***** *** ******* ******* and neither of these companies have record of this debt.Business response

We have searched our database and we do not have a record for this consumer in our system. We believe that this consumer has our company confused with another company. We have no records of any communication whatsoever with this consumer ever being made. We request that this complaint be deleted from our BBB listing.

Received a voicemail from this company using a robo voice, stating my name and full date of birth. 20 minutes later, I received a text from my mother stating that she also received the same voicemail from this company with my name and full date of birth. This company is calling random numbers associated with my phone number and leaving voicemails giving out my personal information. This is absolutely ridiculous. I’ve never heard of this company up until today! Something needs to be done about these people just randomly giving out people’s personal information. What if my mother no longer had that phone number and it went to a random stranger?!Business response

Hello -
We do have an account in our office associated with this consumer. Any caller ID that we use rings back to our office and we do not block our number. We are in accordance with the **** and the ***** with regards to messages that we leave and the content of the messages, including leaving date of birth on a voicemail. We are also in compliance when making contact with a third party in an effort to obtain updated contact information for the named consumer. This being said, we have made our client aware of this consumers complaint and flagged their account. We do encourage this consumer to contact us regarding their account to discuss the details further.

company calls repeatedly and only gives robocaller voicemail.calls from a different # everytime even blocking it. they are illegally leaving personal info such as birthdates and such in a voice which is nothing that should ever be shared and it needs to be stopped. also have never once sent any form of actual correspondence and i have no proof other than a voice mail and a rude service reps word to prove any debtBusiness response

Keep calling my phone and then I picked up and some guy answers the phone, I told him I was at work and in front of customers and he was like what does that have to do with you setting up a payment and going to grab your purse or wallet, first off he was a total d*** and rude as ever, lose my number before he really gets cussed out or another one of your rude customer service reps, they need to be taught some freaking manners when calling people, dumb a**** then maybe people would want to talk to them and then giving out my birthday and name over the phone when calling with a recorder is not professional.Business response

We do have an account in our office with this consumers name and information. We did make a couple attempted contacts with the consumer and she said she was unable to speak. Based on the nature of her complaint we have decided to close the account in our office and return it to the client.

This company contacted me about a debt they claimed I owed. I was fine with setting up payments, but once I requested information regarding the original debt they claimed I owed I was threatened with jail time. The second time I talked with them, I was threatened with them taking me to court for double the owed amount if I asked questions and was told that I had no right to request information regarding the original creditor or amount. They claim I owe $1,500. I’ve never borrowed $1,500 so I was trying to be cautious to avoid the scams that are so prevalent now days. Both agents i spoke too were abusive and threatening. They both told me a different original creditor. The second guy I talked to yelled at me on the phone and told me I was avoiding debts and if I asked any more questions he would see me in court. They also called from several different numbers and one number was hidden so I couldn’t even call back after received a voicemail. I simply wanted verification which I can ask by law. This was a very traumatizing event.Business response

Company calling multiple times with a coded #. Calls from 7*********** * ************* leaves message that they want to speak with me & my DOB to call back a* ***********3 no company identification. I googled the 888 # to get company name. The other numbers came up with no identification. Company has called my work phone as well. Looks like # is coming from Indianapolis (317 are code) but message states 888 #.Business response

He have an account in our office associate with this consumer. To confirm, we have made several attempts to contact this consumer to discuss the details of her account. We are a little unclear as to the nature of her complaint as we are permitted under the FDCPA to make attempted contact with consumers. We own all phone numbers that we call from and each will ring into our office if dialed. All this being said, the consumer is requesting no further contact from our office, so we are flagging the account to ensure no future phone calls from us. We encourage this consumer to contact our office to review her account.

I asked for the bill to be sent to me. I want to take care of any debts I may owe, however, having been scammed in the past I am a bit nervous about doing things over the phone. I also asked for the phone calls to desist. I was met with a very rude employee named ***** who was belittling even after I told her my last payment was in 2020 due to loss of job relating to covid and a serious health issue in my family. I am a professional who fell on hard times due to the aforementioned concerns and was treated so poorly by her on the phone. I was told in so many words initially that she would rather email but ironically if I wanted the phone calls to stop I had to send that in writing through the mail. I was told in a threatening tone that this would just go on my credit report and in the time it would take to mail the bill to me, my account would be transferred to another debt collector and I wouldn’t be offered a chance for a smaller amount resolution. For shame ****** I only hope you or your family never fall on hard times and if you do, the voice on the other line will be kind and understanding. Remove my number from your call roster as well as any other family members numbers. Send me the bill in the mail and I will pay it. IBusiness response

This company contacted me about an account but never said which account or who they were in the message until I called back. They also use a robo caller that gives out my name and D.O.B in a voicemail of my business. So they are giving out my person information to whomever without my approval and are harassing me at a place of business about an account that they won't give me any information on. I have never had debt with them and now they are just giving out my information trying to make me give them money to stop.Business response

I received a call today from a man that did not identify himself. Just said he was calling from Advanced Capital Solutions. And requested that I call back, no callbaxk number was left. He sounded irritated and have no other details. If this is a valid debt I would like a debt validation letter sent via mail and all calls to myself and any family members to stop immediatelyBusiness response

We have requested her original documents regarding her account from our client and will email these to ************************ per her request in the complaint. Should the consumer wish to discuss her account she can contact us at tel:8887427607 Monday through Friday, 9:00 am through 6:00 pm EST. No other phone calls will be made to the consumer regarding her account at this point.
