We had an initial consultation with the provider. We were told that there was a preauthorization done for the reminder of the balance. However, 8 months later we are being told ***** DENTAL has denied our claim to pay the difference. I contacted our insurance, and dental works has not even filed a claim as of yet to get that money. I emailed, faxed and called with all of the information necessary to get the claim filed back from last July and no one will return my call from DENTAL WORKS. Amanda is the billing gal, and she is not responding after a week of trying daily. The 1800 number is useless. They faxed the local place and gave them my cell and they still have not called me.

I had tissue grafting done at DentalWorks in Canton in 3/2021. It failed and I had to have it redone 9/2022. They preauthorized with my Insurance company and I paid the portion DentalWorks said I would be responsible for on the day of my procedure ($152.40). When I received the E.O.B. from my Insurance company, it said, “benefits for this procedure type are limited to 1 in 36 months”. I gave a copy of this notice to DentalWorks when I had my follow up, and they said they would take care of it. I never heard from them until a year later when I received my first bill. I called DentalWorks and was told I needed to speak to Angi, who was not available, so I left a message. I called 8 times over 7 weeks and kept getting different excuses why Angi was unavailable. In the meantime, I received several bills, past due fees, and finally a notice from a collections agency, still with no return call from Angi. When she finally returned my call on 11/6/23, 13 months after I originally brought this matter to their attention, her response was she didn’t work there when the mistake was made and that she didn’t know why it took DentalWorks a year to bill me. I asked to speak to her Manager, and she said she was not allowed to give out that information. I was given a phone number to the Dental One Customer Service Complaints Department ***************), which has been disconnected. So now I am stuck with a bill for 5 times what DentalWorks said I would be responsible for ($609.60 plus $131.20 in late fees). I tried to contact my insurance company, but their 180 day window for resolution had passed. I paid the portion DentalWorks required from me. If they had informed me when they preauthorized that my insurance would not cover the rest, I would not have had my 2nd surgery (which also failed). I request the balance of $740.80 ($609.60+$131.20) be removed from my account. I have never experienced any medical office with this level of unprofessionalism and disrespect for their patients.

I had dental work done at this location and paid all monies asked at the time of service. My insurance paid as well, but I did not receive a bill from this office/provider for over 9 months. My first notice that I still owed them anything was a threat to turn me over to collections. They said I had a balance of over $1200 dollars. I tried to get a statement from them to show the itemized statement of charges, and even though I made a trip to the office, no one was able to provide me with a readable statement. I made several calls to their billing office which were never returned, I also called the dental office itself and asked to make payment arrangements since it was their oversight that lead to such a large balance for me to pay. I was told to pay as much as I could before it was turned to collections, and that was the best that they could do. Being retired and living on a fixed income does not make paying a large amount like this an easy task. Even though I like Dr. ****, his billing practices by taking 9 months to send the first bill as a collections threat is not anything I want to experience again. After paying them regularly each month the amount of $200, they still turned to me to collections with ********** *******, Inc., even though I had already paid them in full. Certainly an apology and or an acknowledgement of their unfair billing practices would be appreciated as well.

07/20/2022 down payment taken from my account for orthodontic devices in the amount of$200 8/27/2022 automatic payment taken from that same account, also for the orthodontic device. Still never received. In the amount of$241.38 From 8/27/2022 until 03/06/2023 I have requested a call from corporate and regional manager and no one will call me. Ortho manager called twice and was very rude. Office manager told me I would get a full refund, totalling 441.38, back in November 2022. Check received in the amount of$241.38. I am still owed$200 that I was told was put on my account. I sent a letter from my financial institution showing that never happened on 01/12 and 01/13/2023. No response from anyone after several calls and messages. They are not trying to resolve the issue. They will not even call me back and this has been going on since July of 2022. They owe me$200. And i deserve to file a complaint with ********* partners, which is the corporate office. I requested payments be sent via check by mail

My daughter went in for a cleaning that is supposed to be covered by my dental insurance. Dental works did not bill my insurance, instead they keep sending me bills. I've contacted Gina several times and she insisted the bill had been wrote off. The bill she showed that was wrote off was an extremely old bill that we had already settled and it was in a different patient name then my daughters. My daughters cleaning was back in November of 2022. I emailed Gina with a bill i received in January showing that the bill had not been wrote off and i got zero reply. So now I'm stuck with a bill of $387 for a cleaning that should have been covered by ******** Dental. This is not something i should have to deal with. Dental works is in net work with ******** dental and it should have been billed accordingly. Since it was not, the accurate bill should have been wrote off like i was advised it was. Now it's February 21st and I'm still receiving bills. Absolutely unacceptable.
