Yes this business closed without any notice to the people attending the school and my daughter had a start date of June 27th for her driving in car class for the 8 hours that wasn't completed so the state says that we are not entitled to a refund on the second half of the class because my daughter has gotten an extension which was approved by the people that own the company Deborah d******* and she had a letter that was written for my daughter to explain the problem which was accepted by Debra and we still can't get our money which means I'm start paying another $400 or $500 for another session. And being that when she finished the first half of the classes she didn't receive a certificate because she missed the initial test date and had to retake it which she did but due to school obligations she couldn't take it the day of. For some reason she never received the certificate the state says oh well it's not in your file there's nothing we can do about it which the owner ***** ******* never even approached her with a certificate which she says she knew nothing about I can't get my money and I can't get the certificate which would allow me to pay half instead of the whole amount again and I have no contact information on ****** ******* because she didn't give anyone that was attending the school anyway to contact her which at this point is my only option because I've tried two to three other options to get the certificate and nothing has happened. I believe she should have at least contacted the people that have already paid her that she was closing that makes no sense. I need money or a certificate because having to pay full price again is totally unprofessional and unfair considering we had no notice.Initial Complaint

In August 2023, we enrolled with this company to provide driver’s training for a student. The cost was $325. The four in car driving sessions were set up. The first session was canceled due to the instruction car being broke down. Rescheduled and that first session was awful. The instructor did nothing but talk down not only about our student but about others which one was a student we know. The instructor was rude, loud, and degrading. Said we were teaching our student all wrong and she would fail. The training car was extremely dirty and not in real good mechanical condition. The first two sessions were driving around the instructors neighborhood and the second two were going to be maneuvering around the cones. No highway, downtown, country roads etc. After the second session, we decided it best to move companies for which we paid $500 to enroll. I called to cancel and requested to be refunded for the unused sessions and the owner said she would get back to me that week. Of course she did not so I called her but she won’t answer my call or return the message. I have a friend who is furious at how their child was talked to and treated as well. She finished the course because they did not have the funds to start over. My point of this is they are not truly teaching the new drivers like other companies do and they for sure are not talking to them in a professional manner. Also, the car needs a deep clean and mechanical repairs. It is filthy inside. I don’t think other young drivers should be subject to this. If I had any idea up front, we would have never chosen this company. Someone really needs to look into their operation. I feel we should be reimbursed in full but would settle for half the classes. My new driver came home from the first session and burst into tears. The second one was a little better because I had made it a point to go outside and talk to the instructor. Still not good. Thank you for your time.Business Response

student drove 12/11/23 (lst in car) student drove 12/21/23 (2nd in car) scheduled to drive 1/12/24 and 1/20/24
After lst in car never head anything from grandma or student that there was a problem. As a mother myself if my child came home and burst into tears.. I would have been in touch with driving school ASAP. ran 2nd lesson and again no phone call from grandma or student. Easy Method texted student week of 1/8/24 to determine pickup of lesson on 1/12/24. Grandma called Easy Method 1/9/24 and informed Easy Method that she would not be keeping the remaining appointments and requested a refund. easy Method asked WHY and grandma said conflict of interest - Conflict of interest .. is a very vague response and could be a number of things. she would not elaborate Easy Method explained to grandma that no refunds are issued if the driving school is willing, ready and able to fulfill the agreement I can not resolve a potential problem if I am not aware of the problem I find it hard to believe that she waited 30 days from 1st appointment before contacting Easy Method the car was inspected by the state and approved or it would not be allowed to be on the road the instructor was addressed regarding road issue and has commented that she stayed close for the safety of them both as she did not feel confident in taking driver in busy atmosphere I would have preferred to finish my student but since that is not possible I will offer her 150.00 to be mailed thank you

Signed my daughter up for drivers Ed on December 7, 2021. We paid in full, up front which was 350.00. My daughter did the Drivers Ed classes and was to start in car in March. Her first 2 lessons were cancelled by the driving school. She did the other 2 scheduled days of in car. She still has 2 days to make up and they willl not get her scheduled. I’ve reached out several times to the driving instructor and never get an answer when I call and am unable to leave a message. Call the main office and I’m told that the schedule is being worked on and that they’ll call me with make up dates. Still have no make up dates. This has being going on for a month. My daughters temps have now expired and she needs to get them again.Business Response

Responding to customer concern of 4/20/2022 (ID#********) regarding ******* ********** (student) and ***** ********** (mother) regarding rescheduling of behind the wheel schedule.
Lindsey was scheduled to drive 3/15/22, 3/16/22,3/17/22 and 3/22/22. 3/15/22 and 3/16/22 were cancelled by A-Easy Method (instructor had a family emergency). 3/17/22 and 3/22/22 were completed by instructor. On 4/21/22 A-Easy Method called mom and offered 4/22/22 and 4/29/22 to complete behind the wheel hours. Mom refused appointments because of daughters work schedule. Mom informed A-Easy Method that she is only available to do makeup hours on Sundays and Mondays. A-Easy Method called mom on 4/23/22 and offered Sunday 4/24/22 however mom refused due to the fact that daughters temporary permit had expired (assured A-Easy Method she would take daughter to renew her temporary permit on Tuesday 4/26/22). A-Easy Method called mom on Sunday 4/24/22 and offered Sunday 5/1/22 and Monday 5/2/22 which mom approved (appointments are subject to renewal of temporary permit). Per the contract signed by A-Easy Method (***** ********), ******* ********** ********* *** ***** ********** (mom) on 12/7/21 the driving school shall make every effort to complete the 24 hours of classroom and 8 hours of behind the wheel instruction six months from the date of the agreement (which will be 6/7/22). A-Easy Method will have Lindsey completed by Monday 5/2/22.
