I was asked to pay $518 at first then they gave me a “discount “ and charged $400 They said it was because it was a police empound so they could charge more.Im from ***** and they never did that before. I called ****** towing in ***** and they said it was 129. I just wanted to inform you guys I’m not sure if it’s legal or not.

Car was in an accident and taken to the impound lot, it was supposed to be sent to the collision center today. They charged us 1004.99 to tow it a few miles. They have not released my car, towed it to the get an estimate and will not answer the phone. Insurance company called them and they said they will call me back, and have not. My car is sitting almost an hour away with no way to speak to them, especially after the huge overcharge.

As you can see in the pictures this was not a normal tow she rolled the jeep. As far as it goes for her not being able to get a hold of us is untrue as she sent you a copy of the invoice. The jeep was in our lot for 5 days befor the bill was paid. We our open 7a to 7p monday thru saturday. The phones are 24/7 365 days a year. After 2 months of the car being gone it hard to know what happen those 5 days it was here. The owner was giving an chance to pay for the car right on scene or bring it back to the shop and have the insurance take care of it. If she got the insurance company loop they come to our lot and inspect the jeep and they decide if its totaled or fixable. We will not refund any money
