On 6/27/2024 I went to Advantage Auto Sales LLC to see a 2009 Lexus Rx350 with 88,479 miles and a "clean" car fax report. When I get to de dealer the sales guy was working on the car with the car running (engine) !!!! I look at the car see nothing wrong , the sales guy stated that the car has new alternator , new battery, and oweners manual and wheels lock key at the glove box ( wish I never check ) took the car for a 3 miles road test and everything was good on that driving distance . I brought the car... took it home that afternoon and the car didn't make it to my home wish is like 45 miles north of Canton,Oh.... Car overheat and the top end of the engine start to make noise and pushing the antifreeze thru the radiator. I call the dealer the next morning 6-28-2024 and the sales guy told me that he didn't know the car has any problems , he offered me some type of warranty and I accept the offer to fix the car...... As today 7-17-2024 I'm still waiting on the famous warranty that he offer me to resolve the problem. fist he said that he was waiting for the warranty company , then I contact him again and then stated that he was on vacation out of is office. I feel scammed with $8,900.00 even I was very polite to work the situation his way !!!! Now I'm $8,900 lost with a car sitting on my driveway useless and a guy ghosting me. I have the proof that he stated he will help in the situation !!!! All I'm looking is that that guy face the situation and comply with what ever he offer !!!! Oh and yes I did find the car on ******** marketplace !!!!!! Sales guy is named Bobby and his cell # is ************

    1.  We do not use or subscribe to Carfax.   If he states that it has a clean Carfax report I would assume he did his due diligence and verified that would be correct.  I can confirm it DOES have a Free and Clear Ohio Title with no brandings.

    2.  According to our records we do not show a new alternator or new battery.  Nor can I presently confirm or deny if the locking lug nut extension was available.  In many cases these do come with our vehicles but in many cases they do not.  Again;  I would hope Mr. ******* had done his due diligence in confirming such.

    3.  We had NO prior knowledge of the vehicle having ANY overheating issues.  Mr. ******* furthermore stated the vehicle was in fact running and he drove it with no issues while doing his inspection.  Stating that the "pushing the antifreeze thru the radiator" comment stated above would only confirm that in fact it was working properly.  That is EXACTLY what the function of the radiator is....to push coolant thru.

    4.  Vehicle was sold as-is thru our dealership but we DID in fact provide Mr. ******* with an Aftermarket/3rd Party warranty that we provide with many of our vehicles.  Copy of Warranty Attached.

We pride ourselves on selling good used vehicles.  That being said;  These vehicles are in fact "used".  At any point and time they can break or need repair.  The dealership made right with Mr. ******* by giving him the 3rd. Party warranty at time of purchase.  At no time did Mr. ******* state he wanted to return the vehicle or get a refund so we felt this issue had been resolved immediately in an amicable fashion.  At NO time did Mr. ******* take the vehicle to get checked out or inspected prior to purchase.  He made all inspections and purchased the vehicle without force by our dealership or salesperson.

If you should have any additional questions or concerns;  Please do not hesitate to contact us at anytime.

    Sincerely,

    Advantage Auto Sales, LLC
