    I live in the neighborhood of this apartment complex. Winter before last, one of their tenants knocked down the stop sign that is at the entrance to the apartments, at the corner of Country Manor and Westerfield Dr. Management of the complex was notified immediately. Since then, neighbors have called the police to ask if they would put up a stop sign, and we're told that it's private property, so the complex is responsible. Several neighbors have asked the apartment management of put up a stop sign, to which they blame the police for not putting one up. When informed that police have informed them that it is the complex's responsibility, the complex says they will put one up. As of today, they have not done so. Since there is no stop sign, most of the residents do not stop at that intersection. This is a huge safety concern. There is a blind spot up the street, and several times, kids walking home from school have almost been hit by vehicles not stopping at that intersection. There are also people walking in the neighborhood, some with small children, and they are in danger because the residents do not stop at an intersection where there is no stop sign. If management at this apartment complex refuse to do such a small thing as put up a stop sign, what else would they refuse to do.
