    Renaissance roofing, Damian *******, was paid by my insurance company to replace the roof on my home. He got the money and sent a crew to do the work. The repair included removing the shingles and sheeting and replace it. He removed the shingles, added another layer of sheeting, to save him time and money, and then shingles. He was supposed to clean the gutters, he didn't. He was supposed to reinstall the gutter guard, he did but it kept falling out and to the ground. He did not use starter strip under the first row of shingles. There is a section of my roof that doesn't match the rest, the color is wrong. I have asked him to fix the issues and he assured me he would. It has been 6 months since the work was done, almost 4 months since he promised to fix it. He doesn't return phone calls or texts now, always has an excuse of being too busy. This guy is a scam artist at best. I would recommend that nobody use him for anything. I have contacted my insurance company, hopefully they will pursue him for insurance fraud.

    Renaissance Roofing is a very sleazy company! I had them do my roof for the agreed amount of the insurance Check that I already had in hand. After the job was complete I received a citation in the mail from the city of Parma. The citation was for Renaissance roofing failing to pull the proper permits and registering to perform the work in the city. Renaissance roofing was paid in full and asked if they could talk to my insurance company about maybe possible mold damage from the roof leakage. I agreed to this and after sometime my insurance company contacted me and said they would pay for mold removal per the paperwork that was submitted with my signatures. At this point I contacted my insurance company since I never signed any paperwork with Renaissance roofing for anything including my roof. I filed a fraud claim with my insurance company regarding the forgery that Renaissance roofing did regarding this matter. I immediately contacted my attorney who advised me to make a police report and have someone take pictures of the work performed on my roof. After the pictures were taken I discovered all the damage they did to my brand new gutters and guards that were installed a few weeks prior to the roof installation. Also I discovered how badly the work that was done. I have shingles sticking up nails on the outside of the shingles visible to the eye. None of the warped boards were replaced like Renaissance said they would do and the chalking they did around the chimney looks like a 2 year old child did. Now I’m stuck with a crappy looking roof that will for sure leak or I have to hire a reputable company to tear this one off and do it correctly for another 12k!!! Renaissance Roofing now somehow put a lien on my house and refuses to to pay for the new roof or fix the problems that they were paid for in full.

    WE COMPLETED MR. ****** ROOF AND EVEN ASKED IF HE WAS HAPPY WITH THE ENTIRE JOB WHICH HE SAID YES. ONCE MR. ****** RECEIVED THE FINAL CHECK FROM THE CARRIER RATHER THAN PAY US HE KEPT IT, ALONG WITH THE EXTRA FUNDS WE WERE ABLE TO GET FOR HIM TO COMPLETE SOME INTERIOR REPAIRS AMOUNTING TO ANOTHER $10,000. SINCE HE TRIED KEEPING OUR PAYMENT WE PUT A LIEN ON HIS HOME. AND NOW HE'S JUST TRYING TO COME UP WITH WAYS NOT TO PAY US FOR THE WORK WE PROVIDED LIKE FILING COMPLAINTS WITH THE BBB. IF YOU LOOK IN THE COUNTY RECORDS YOU WILL FIND THE LIEN MY LAWYER PUT ON HIS HOME FOR TRYING TO STIFF OUR COMPANY FOR OVER $17,000.00. THIS IS THE REASON HE IS FILING A COMPLAINT.
