    Review Title: Unethical Pricing & Zero Accountability – AVOID This UPS Store I am beyond appalled by the predatory pricing practices of this UPS Store. Yesterday, my assistant was charged a staggering $5,000 to ship 40 standard posters—a price so egregious it defies all reasonable business practices. At no point did the store disclose or provide any prior notification of the cost before finalizing the transaction. This was not just an overcharge—it was an outright exploitation of trust. To make matters worse, when we raised concerns, the store manager, refused to acknowledge the issue or offer any remedy, instead dismissing our complaint with complete indifference. This kind of blatant price gouging and lack of accountability is unacceptable, especially from a brand that customers rely on for fair and transparent service. If you value your time, money, and integrity, avoid this location at all costs. UPS Corporate should investigate and intervene to prevent further unethical treatment of customers.

    To whom it may concern: This customer did send his assistant in to our store and she did ship 40 tubes for $5000. I agree with that part of the complaint. However, she his assistant was told the price and had to sign off on each individual shipment. They shipped tubes which are considered and irregular items in our line of business, which means they have a surcharge on them as they are harder to handle because they are irregular. In this case it a tube that is considered irregular. They also shipped at least 10 of these overseas which means they are going to cost more because they were shipped overseas. The assistant had every chance to say no at any time in the transaction as she had to personally approve and sign off on each one that was shipped. Every tube was the same size and was measured accurately and weighed accurately and every address was entered correctly which is how we get the final price of any shipment we do. We are not making up prices as we go, we have to follow *** standard practices like every other *** store does, which comes from our Corporate office. I am sorry that this customer doesn't understand how shipping works but everyone pays the same price for the same item. Its all based on destination, size of package, weight, and if the item is considered a normal item or an irregular item. Tubes are irregular so unfortunately that raised his final cost and also shipping several overseas raised the final cost. I the manager explained this directly to this customer when he came in my store, my assistant which did this shipment for his assistant also was very transparent about the shipment. There is nothing I can do once we have provided the service that was paid for, that should be understood by this customer who thought he was going to get his money back after we already shipped his tubes out. That is not good business practice and we would go out of business if the word got out that all you have to do is complain about the price after the fact. Again the assistant had to personally check and sign off on each package individually as the addresses were put in the system.
