  I would NEVER recommend this office. I was charged a consultation/diagnostic fee but never went back for the surgery. The oral surgeon never looked in my mouth once & looked at x-rays taken months before by my dentist. When I went to check out, a woman came to the receptionist window & as I said in the lobby amongst all the other clients, she listed, out loud, all of the charges that I would incur over the following months from beginning to end. She then told me that the whole amount would be payable the morning of the surgery & pymt methods they accepted, even though the whole procedure would take a few months. So essentially I was paying for services months before they were rendered. It was extremely uncomfortable and difficult to absorb as the office was full of other people. Other clients were close enough to hear everything. Being a medical professional myself, that's a direct HIPAA violation. I then after sitting in my car for over 30 minutes reviewing all the paperwork she gave me as I was not going to ask questions in front of the whole office, I had questions I called my insurance company right away, & then I just left the parking lot went home & the next day or two. Try to call to ask questions because some of the things on the bill were different from what was discussed. I had questions about the sedation type that would be used. I wanted to know if the staff was qualified in CPR & if they had the right life saving equipment in case something happened. The young lady I spoke with, was really not able to give me any specific answers, except for saying our staff is qualified & multiple times saying to me you'll be fine. I called & left messages to speak with someone for clarification on all the charges & I also asked to speak to the nurse about the actual procedure. I never had a return phone call, & then received two bills for this consultation. When I called their office today, I was treated rudely, insulted & then hung up on by a woman named Jennifer.

  Ms. ****** It has been brought to our attention that after your detailed consultation on 04/05/2023 and multiple lengthy phone conversations with our staff you appear to be unhappy with our responses. The following information was provided and it is unfortunate that you feel it was inadequate. Our surgeons meet with all our patients prior to surgery after they have already reviewed their past medical history, referral requests and imaging sent by the referring doctor. All medical history, medications, allergies and the pre-filled medical forms are all verified prior to your consultation.The doctors also discuss treatment plans and different options prior to surgery, reviewing medical information provided, comprehensive exams, risks, benefits and alternative treatments. The administration of sedation or general anesthesia is monitored by a Registered Nurse under direct supervision of the doctors whom are certified and approved by the state dental and medical boards and re-certified every 5 years by the ******************** of **** and Maxillofacial Surgeons. All surgical suites and the facility is equipped with the latest and updated medical emergency equipment and medications. All staff members are CPR certified. Treatment plans are discussed at the front desk at the glass window privately. Pre-determinations from insurance are provided and an estimated copay depending on circumstances to each individual patient.We always strive to provide excellent care and we make all our patients feel comfortable at all times.If you are not happy with our care we would be glad to refer you to any of our colleagues in the ****************** area.

  In response to an Intra Oral Exam, these are completed when the doctor deems necessary after looking at patient x-rays. When ***** was a grave concern, and in an effort to protect our patients, limiting the need for intra oral exams was implemented.
