I schedule Lasik surgery with this company. When I arrived to have the procedure done. One of the documents said that I have presbyopia and require readers. I have never been diagnosed with presbyopia and have never used readers. They refused to update the document to reflect that I don’t require readers. Update: I got a second opinion from an independent optometrist, not at all affiliated with lasik surgery and certainly not LasikPlus. They said that post lasik surgery, immediately and forever, I would have to read at a a further distance than I do today and might need readers. And for what it is worth they said that I don’t yet have presbyopia. So is why LasikPlus has that factually incorrect statement in their ‘agreement’ and refused to update it. They are snakes!

If I could leave a zero star review, I would. I had lasik in 2012 in Houston. They provided a lifetime no cost retreatment guarantee. Recently, Feb 2024, I started the process to request that. Had an eye exam, sent the forms in, received an acknowledgement that it would take up to 8 weeks to review. We are now SEVENTEEN weeks out with nothing. I have called, emailed MULTIPLE times, with zero responses. I receive one call more than 3 weeks ago with a v/m saying they were calling to schedule & only have 1 appt avail. I called back IMMEDIATELY to the number left on the v/m (I work in the daytime and can’t always answer my phone). *************** it went to a recorded message. I have since called MULTIPLE times; same recorded message that says they’re unavailable & calls will be returned in 2 business days… BULL!! I have left many voicemails with no return calls. I hunted down a different 800 number, got a live person, they transferred me to another person, who basically said I was approved for retreatment, but I had to schedule an exam and there were no appointments in June remaining & the July slots were not released yet, to wait a couple of weeks. He explained how only special doctors do the retreatment (??? Makes no sense) and the appointments are limited. They also want another eye exam in their office at $99 to ensure my vision is stable. It’s now 2+ weeks since that conversation and nothing. Nothing, nothing, nothing. I’ve again emailed MULTIPLE email addresses that I have on file and NOTHING….NOTHING…..NOTHING……NOTHING. LCA - if you’re reading these reviews, be put on notice, you will be slapped with another violation of DTPA. This is a deceptive trade practice if I’ve ever seen one. Your company represents a lifetime guarantee of no cost retreatment, but when someone request that, you make it IMPOSSIBLE to get. I will be filing a formal complaint and have notified your offices of such via email.

6 years ago I had LASIK, Im now nearsighted, again. I was having issues with my vision, so I had an eye exam. When I reached out about retreatment and being covered, they had me submit a document from my optometrist, and my request for retreatment. I was told by, *********, that it could take up to 8 weeks to hear back. After 9 weeks I sent an email to, *******. She replied by letting me know that I could get scheduled. What a relief it was! I responded to the email, accepting the day she offered. She eventually responded back by saying that appointment slot was gone. I sent her another email trying to get another appointment. That email got ignored. I sent another email, that got ignored. I then decided to make a call so that I could speak to someone. After being transferred a couple of times, I was given to *******, at their headquarters. ***** said that she would be happy to help me, and to figure out the closest location for me to have my retreatment at no cost. She said she would call me back the following week. I waited the following week, no call. I gave her three weeks, thinking she would be calling me back. I have yet to hear back from her. I have called her several times now, and I have left voicemails. She has yet to return my calls. This process started at the beginning of December, 2023. Im now reaching the end of March 2024, with no resolution. I had to purchase a pair of glasses so I can see. After being told that I can have my retreatment at no cost, Im now just being ignored. When it comes down to actually following through and getting me scheduled, they are now ignoring me. Before going through with LASIK, I was convinced of what an investment it would be. Now only six years later, Im dealing with this. They convinced me that they would actually stand by their work and be there for their patients. Instead, I feel like they got their money, and have no concern about the well being of their patients.

Disappointing Post-Surgery Experience Life-Altering Dry Eyes Issue I underwent LASIK surgery at this clinic almost a year ago, initially impressed by their professionalism and the promise of better vision. While the surgery corrected my vision, it unfortunately led to a severe and persistent dry eye issue, which I had never experienced before the procedure. This complication has turned my life upside down. I find myself needing to use eye drops hourly and wear a special mask each night to mitigate the dryness. This constant need for management and the discomfort that comes with it has significantly affected my daily life and well-being.Despite reaching out to the clinic multiple times for assistance or guidance post-surgery, their response has been deeply disappointing. I was directed to see my local eye doctor, with the clinic showing little concern for the possibility that the surgery have caused this issue. Their approach lacked the accountability and care I expected from a professional medical provider.I am especially disheartened by the clinic's combative and dismissive attitude when confronted with my post-surgical complication. It is concerning to see such a lack of post-operative care and responsibility.I feel compelled to share my experience to inform potential patients. While the surgery did improve my vision, the ongoing struggle with dry eyes and the clinic's unhelpful response have greatly diminished my quality of life. This is an important consideration for anyone thinking about undergoing a similar procedure at this clinic. Potential patients should weigh the risks and the clinic's approach to post-operative care before making their decision.

I went to the **** Easton Station location, and after going through the initial consultation and being cleared to get the surgery, I was turned away by the surgeon the day of the surgery. He claimed it was due to me still needing glasses post-op (which I was fine with because I needed them to read) so he shut me down completely. He didn't actually tell me to my face either, relying instead to have a nurse to do so. While the people there were decent otherwise, it had an overall flaky feel to it all. I just wanted my eyes fixed, I'll be taking my $4,000 elsewhere because I'm fairly certain I can get it done. The place is a joke!

Lasik Plus in Mt. Royal, NJ performed eye surgery on me in December 2021. They were supposed to correct my distance and I used all the drops and followed the instructions they give you to a tea and here it is 10 months after my surgery and I still cannot see signs while driving in the day and night, and license plates until I am right up on them, which is how it was before the surgery. During the follow up visits the doctor tried to tell me I have dry eyes and that the surgery has corrected my vision some and as soon as the dry eye has been remedied, I will be able to see even better. He advised me to keep using the drops. I visited the doctors on numerous times afterwards, always complaining about the surgery not correcting my vision and the doctor there always insisted my eyes are corrected as well as they can be. I have to get a prescription for glasses in order to give me the ability to see the way the surgery should have provided me. I paid over $4,000 to have my vision corrected and LasikPlus did not do what was promised. If they would have informed me before the surgery that nothing is guaranteed and there is a possibility, I would still need corrective glasses after the surgery, I would NOT have followed through with it. I think everyone who has gone to the Mt. Royal, NJ office to have their vision corrected and it still isn't, we should all go to the office and boycott. We should not let them get away with stealing our money. They should not be allowed to do this to another person! LasikPlus needs to be shut down.

As with everyones else complaints with LASIKPLUS, mine is the exact same. I had my eyes done in January 2022 at the *******, ** location and have been back several times because my vision has not improved. They try to make you believe it's 20/20 but it's not. My distance vision is no better then before the surgery i cannot drive at night without needing glasses. I paid nearly $4000 for vision correction and received nothing. I feel this has become a hostile situation and something needs to be done about this company. LasikPlus need to be forced to refund our money since they have not been able to deliver as promised. LasikPlus should be closed down till further investigation is done and are accredited with the BBB. Doctors should not be allowed to preform ANY kind of surgery if the company is not an accredited company. LasikPlus MUST be held liable and responsible for what they did and the refusal to honor what they sell. I take partial blame in what I am dealing with because I did not research the company as fully as I thought I did. The treatment you get after they receive your money is unexceptiable and must not be allowed to continue like this. I demand a full refund for not receiving the vision correction I paid for.

If I could give them zero stars I would!I had Lasik performed in August of 2021 (1 year ago). I have been having issues with my distance vision since day 1, especially when driving, and at night. I have been reporting this at every follow up appointment, being told it takes a year to fully heal, and to keep applying moisturizing eye drops. I just had my 1 year exam by my regular eye doctor, who confirms I still require a prescription for both reading (expected) as well as distance. I can not read street signs when driving. So I need not only glasses, but sunglasses also. I payed a lot of money to not have to wear glasses, and am being told that I still do. I had my doctor submit the form for enhancement procedure (not a revision, even though there is supposed to be a lifetime guarantee). I was just informed that the vision deficit is not bad enough to qualify, and once they get worse, then I can reapply. Biggest waste of money! I spent thousands, and am still having to spend hundreds every year on prescription glasses. ??
