On 5/3/23 I called National Integrity about some annuities I had up for renewal. I got the terms for renewal and asked for a date when I needed to make a final decision to either renew the annuities at the terms they stated or pull my money out. They gave me a date of 5/5/23 to make a decision otherwise I agreed it would be renewed at the new term. I sent in the paperwork to fully surrender the annuity on 5/5/23 and asked for confirmation which they gave. They then surrendered the annuity as it had been renewed even though I sent it in the surrender form before the deadline. I've has dozens of calls with their customer service representatives, and they won't return the surrender charges making the decision within their own people and not someone independent. They are taking a surrender charge of over $5000. This is a large sum of money. I have a recording of the call I made asking for the information and the terms to surrender by. No one would renew and annuity and then surrender it a few days later knowing there is such a charge. They have made different excuses on every call to not surrender the money. At times they will not even return calls or accept calls when I call them to discuss it. I need some help getting resolution on this issue as it is a large sum of money withheld unduly.
