When I sat with the salesman, I was told that as long as I got my car repaired through the company I would be eligible for a rental car while my car is being repaired. I’ve been having a light come on since December of 2022 saying “Shift Service” and every time I’ve taken it to Jake Sweeney I was told they had no rentals available, now my car will not start up and I was told I had to make an appointment first, and the rental would be $65 daily without a timeframe. They wouldn’t know how long before they’d be able to inspect my car then wouldn’t know when they’d be able to work on the car. I’ve already missed days of work and school and struggle getting my kids to daycare and school. I do not have $65 to give daily especially for an unknown timeframe.Business Response

Jake Sweeney Automotive has made an attempt to assist in the situation by offering a rental car at no cost for the time it takes to diagnose the customer's vehicle. The customer came in and did not have car insurance to be able to legally operate a motor vehicle. Past experiences with the customer have been inconclusive relative to trying to appease the customer's expectation that all work will be performed at no cost. The customer immediately got upset at the fact that they could not operate a rental vehicle while uninsured and left stating they "would not be back".
At this point Jake Sweeney Chrysler will be terminating the business relationship with the customer and will no longer be able to provide the service that the customer expects. No future business will be conducted with the customer and we can only recommend the customer to seek their automotive needs at another facility. There are more than 6 dealers in the respective area.

That's very unprofessionalism when, they kept promising plus when arrived my tires weren't their, when I was told they have them the night before.

I purchased a **** Jeep ***** ******** on the 27th of March this year. I test drove the vehicle before purchase and did not detect any issues. I immediately heard knocking noises from the underside of the SUV within days of purchase. I notified my sales representative of the issue and brought the vehicle back for inspection. Nothing was found by the technicians at Jake S. I took the vehicle back and the sound proceeded to get worse. I took the SUV back in to have a thorough investigation completed. The service dept. diagnosed a faulty rear sway bar as the culprit. After learning that the issue was a safety concern from Eddie S (head service tech), we went into negotiations as to who would cover the damage. After a lot of back and forth, Todd W***** (Used car sales mgr.) agreed to cover the damage. The part was replaced after a month and upon receipt of the vehicle, the issue was not fixed at all. I then notified Eddie that I needed to take the vehicle back in to have the issue re-diagnosed. Eddie gave me a new service date a month out to bring vehicle back in with the assumption that I would get a loaner vehicle to cover loosing my vehicle to repair. I called the dealership the week of the drop off date and no loaner vehicle was scheduled. I was connected to the loaner dept and left a message but got no response, called the service dept but got no response and called Todd W***** and received no callback. My wife and I bought said vehicle mostly for the lifetime powertrain warranty that comes with the vehicle if you agree to have service done through Jake Sweeney. The vehicle is a certified used vehicle which I would assume that all items mechanically that would lead to safety concerns would have been checked and fixed before the sale of the vehicle and I am not an automotive expert to understand if something mechanically was an issue. I feel stuck in a purchase that I cannot get fixed and will loose a warranty because dealer is unwilling to service itBusiness Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me as long as what was promised will take place. That is getting my car in as soon as possible with a complementary loaner vehicle. Would like to see my vehicle get attention as soon as possible once the issue is diagnosed. Only then will I be happy with service from the dealership.

I came to Jake Sweeney business to have my brakes and pads done and to check if they can provide the job for my transmission work I had a leak on my transmission and with me leaving my car and their care either there broke my ******** converter or someone's trying to steal my ******** converter but my property was damaged and the price that they're charging me to repair this is over $2,000 for a new ******** converter they're offered me no assistance and telling me that they have no liability for my property left in their care. There's no video footage showing that someone has broken into my van and try to steal my ******** converter and they are not willing to send in a report about my vehicle being burglarized.Business Response

Police report must be filed by the vehicle owner. ** ****** was offered the phone number for the local police department and has not proceeded with any course of action. A place of business cannot be held liable for vandalism caused when the vehicle is parked locked. *** ****** was also recommended to contact his insurance company to seek coverage.
