              My son’s car was towed from the *** ** ***** location despite having paid for parking in the garage. He is a freshman at UC. This was early first semester fall 2023. His car was registered as far as make, model, color, license plate number. Despite multiple attempts to speak with someone with authority about the situation, and multiple assurances that we would be contacted by same, we have been ignored by Uptown management. The cost to retrieve the car was $157 cash only, plus a significant amount of time and trouble. I seek to have a refund of the $157 in cash, delivered as I had to deliver it to retrieve the car after it was wrongfully towed. Thank you, ****** ******.

              I honestly don't think they deserve a single star for this review. I have had issues with my apartment since the first day I moved in. The AC was blowing hot air into the apartment, and it took them weeks to solve the problem. They never picked up their phone. They were also dishonest about people coming in and out checking my AC while I requested them not to come in without letting me know and not to leave the door open because I have pets. I noticed that they overcharge me for my rent and on top of that they often request me to pay unreasonable fee without further explanation. When I demanded their explanation, the property manager hung up on me and refused to talk to me several times. They've done poor maintenance jobs, bad customer services and they are over charging people, especially students in the area.
