      Customer service needs a LOT of work. We have used Rumpke for 30 years when we lived in in ******** Township with no issues. I never understood all the issues and complaints Rumpke had until we moved to ******* Township. All the stories about missing pick ups, trash left behind has come to us with the move. We are in our 4th week living in the new house. My wife paid $95 for trash service plus an additional $50 for a special pick up over these first few weeks. Now we live in a new home with no street lights but there are 10 homes that use rumpke on our street (the rest use a local service due to service issues). Our driver did make a pick up two of the first 4 weeks. Christmas week is the worst time of the year for a mistake and our driver made one missing our pick up. As I seen the truck pull away I called Rumpke Customer service and Grace said she would contact dispatch to get the driver to come back. By noon no return so I called CSR again. Now they said Dispatch could not get ahold of the driver and pick up would take place within 48 hours. Saturday evening and still no pick up and the third CSR said to keep trash on curb so it can be picked up. Naturally we had storms and trash was blowen all over. Follow up calls were made to Rumpke CSRs on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday. All days the CSR stated it was scheduled for pick up. Our normal trash day is Thursday so I think Rumpke is waiting a full week. Naturally with Christmas and New Years we have a lot of garbage and no toters to put it in. On our 5th call to Rumpke the CSR said she would have the operations manager contact us. 24 hours later still no contact. If the trash is not picked up again on Thursday I will be filing a complaint
