    Went for an advertised meal and was refused the meal and told it was wrong. The advertisement was on the internet and posters. The server left us went and marked off the day and never came back. Then we call to talk to the manager and was told he can’t take any calls right now.

    On Saturday, June 24th of 2023 around 330 pm, myself and my family came into your establishment to enjoy a lunch together. I ordered two orders of your grippo chicken, two orders of spinach dip, and two soft drinks. My order came up to 80 something dollars and I paid with my Apple Pay/ cash app card and added a tip. Today I was sent an updated bill for 196.22 and I am pissed. I usually don’t even put tips on cards just for reasons such as this. I immediately called and the manager that I spoke with stated she could not find my check. I am upset and would like a return of my money. This literally has made my experience with The Filson horrible.

    My name is Micah M****, and I am the General Manager at The Filson.  I apologize about any inconvience this may have caused, and I would also be frustrated at this situation.  My manager did let me know they spoke about this over the phone, and I looked into it myself as well.  As previously discussed, this is an issue on CashApp's end.  I have spoken with multiple businesses in the area who have had this same issue and as a result, stopped accepting CashApp, as have we.  I also included a screenshot of news articles with CNET, Fox, and USA Today reporting on this exact issue from the same time period as this transaction.  I found these via a google search.  

    I can not issue a refund for this order beacuse there are no issues on our end, as can be seen from the attached receipt.  I can not issue a refund due to a mistake on the part of CashApp/the guests bank of choice, because this would be detrimental to my business.  If i could help I would, and hope CashApp is able to solve this issue, if they have not already done so, as was stated in the news articles.
