Food truck was taken to Dickinson’s for a diagnosis due white smoke coming out of tail pipe. Diagnosis from Dickinson’s ultimately resulted in them advising an engine replacement. After a 9 month waiting period, we finally received the engine and it was replaced. Dickinson’s never notified us of the status of the truck and they would only respond if we inquired about an update. After learning that the engine was replaced, Dickinson informed us that there was a transmission issue. The transmission was never an issue prior to engine replacement. We visited Dickinson on multiple occasions prior engine repair process for various reason and not once was there a transmission issue, nor did we ever bring it in from concern that there was a transmission issue. Dickinson’s denies causing the problem with the transmission yet we are convinced that the problem occurred while under their care and likely during the engine replacement process. Present date they want us to settle for the engine and to take the truck elsewhere to address the transmission, even though they claim that transmission work is in their scope of practice. At this point we refuse to settle until the transmission is fixed by Dickinson’s Fleet
