I bought a car here, and after driving it for a month, many mechanical issues came up, and they would not exchange the vehicle for another one that actually works. Not recommended.

Mira Auto Sales of Cincinnati submitted two (2) inflated loan requests, in my name, to ***** Credit Union Mira had to make up for a $700 fake discount they offered me on the down. But Mira didn’t stop there. Mira also added an additional $900 to the back of the loan to help make up for the $1,500 down payment deficit Mira created with the lies and fake discount. Interestingly, ***** credit union required a $3,000 down payment. But Mira claimed ***** required a $2,200 down payment; then Mira offered me a $700 fake discount on the $2,200 down payment. Here’s what Mira did. Mira submitted a total of 3 loan requests, in my name as follows. On October 17, 2023 Mira submitted the first inflated loan request for $9,446. It was approved by ***** Credit Union. But Mira made mistakes on the application so Mira had to submit a 2nd loan request in my name. On November 3rd, 2023 at 11:13 am, Mira submitted a 2nd loan request to *****; it was approved $6,946. This time the submission was for the correct amount. However, Mira canceled the second loan request and at 11::42 ( just 29 minutes later) and submitted a third loan request in my name. The third loan request Mira submitted was for $7,846 adding $900 to the second submission; this loan request was again inflated.. And ***** again approved it. Mira’s loan submissions clearly show its intent to defraud me. I have documents from ***** and texts and emails from Mira to prove everything I said.

On 10/17/2023 *********** expressed interest in purchasing a **** ****** ******* (VIN: *****************) which was advertised for $7995, *********** indicated that he was looking to finance this vehicle with the lowest down payment possible. *********** filled out a credit application (Copy Attached Exhibit 1). We used this credit application and submitted a deal structure for this client and for this vehicle to ***** Credit Union (***) and other Banks. The amount requested from the Banks was the full amount of the sale price of the vehicle ($7995) plus Sales Tax($584.61) plus Temp Tag ($30.00) plus Document Fee ($220.00) minus a ($1500) Down Payment, since he indicated that he wants the lowest down payment possible. All the Banks that received the application declined to approve it and sent decline letters to *** ********, however, ***** Credit Union made a counter approval of a lesser amount which was $6,946.00 including TT&L (***** Approval Attached Exhibit 2). This means that the client was approved for a loan of this vehicle for less than the amount requested, it further required that the client makes $1500 down payment and the bank will finance $6946.00. The bank also stipulated that the Client provide proof of income. We presented this deal to the client who indicated that he is unable to come with the required down payment, so we made a decision to discount the vehicle by $500 also $265 bank charges shown on contract attached  to make him happy and comfortable with the  down payment and monthly payment . We prepared the sale document consistent with this discount (Sale Documents Attached Exhibit 3). We provided the sale document to the client who was very happy with it and signed. However, prior to the delivery of the vehicle we requested the client to provide his proof of income, at which point, we realized the bank will never accept as it is not an acceptable proof of income (Copy Attached Exhibit 4).  We made a determination to cancel this sale and refund the client his entire down payment, so this is a car sale that never happened. *** ******** also claimed we ran his credit multiple times which is also not true. When we make changes to specific deals the credit union does not run the credit again, they refer back to the original deal. I am also attaching for your review copies of emails and demands that the client has been making which clearly shows his state of mind.

Mira, I think your response is extremely misleading if not outright lying. The $500 and $265 discounts Mira claims to have given me are in fact “nonexistent”. For example, there were three different loans with multiple approvals (see attachment “A” ***** loan doc). the sale prices were as follows: the first request Mira stated that the car’s sale price was $8995, a $1000 increase from the actual price of $7995 (see attachment “A”, ***** loan doc.; the car’s sale price on the second loan submission was, according to Mira, $500 less at $8495. The sale price for the car on the third loan submission, according to Mira, was $265 less at $8230. All those sale prices are above the actual sale price of the car at $7995. No discount ever existed. For the record, The first approved loan was, according to *****, automatically rescinded because Mira made a material mistake on my application; Mira failed to include my part time income. After the first approved loan of $6,946 was rescinded, Mira submitted two (2) more loan requests. Mira used my part time income to help get ***** to raise my approved loan amount from $6,946, in the first and second submissions, to $7,846 in the third loan request. For clarity, Mira’s first submission was on October 17, 2023, at 13:54, account # (on attachment), for $9,446; ***** structured it for $6,946 (see attachment “B” ***** loan doc). I would ask Mira that since the car was $7995 and the TT&L was $1529, and the down payment was $1500, why submit a loan request for $9446? ***** told Mira that the down payment was $3,000 see attachment “A”, ***** loan doc.), Mira told me the down payment was $2,200 then discounted it to $1,500 (see attachments “F&G, ***** Mira texts to me). The total amount due should’ve been $8,024; so, what’s the additional $1,422 for? Was it to help make up for the $1500 deficit Mira created by giving me a fake discount  of $1500 on *****’s $3000 required down payment? I think it’s very possible. Mira’s second submission was on November 3, 2023, at 11:13, sale price was $500 less than submission #1 at $8495, account # (on attachment), for $7,846; ***** structured it for $6,946; it was cancelled when Mira submitted the third loan application just 29 minutes later; the third submission was approved for the full amount of $7846 (see attachment “C”, ***** loan doc). I think Mira needed to cancel the second submission because it didn’t help make up any of the $1500 deficit Mira created when it gave me a fake $1500 discount from *****’s $3000 required down payment. Mira’s third submission was on November 3, 2023, at 11:42, sale price was $265 less than submission #2 at $8320, account # (on attachment), for $7,846; ***** structured it for the full amount of $7,846 (see attachment “D”, ***** loan doc). I would ask Mira if the sale price for the car is $7995 and the TT&L is $930, according to Mira’s response, and then deduct my $1500 down payment, why submit a loan request for $7846 when the total due is $7425? Was it to help pay the $1500 deficit Mira created by giving me a fake $1500 discount from *****’s $3000 required down payment? Again, I think so. I finally had had enough of Mira, so I cancelled the third approved loan myself and ***** agrees (see attachments “E”, ***** letter that I canceled the third loan). In addition to the above, Mira made the following statement in its response to my BBB complaint. Mira wrote “… we decided to cancel the clients approved loan because we decided that the income is unacceptable”. ***** approved the loan based on my proof of income. I guess Mira doesn’t understand that once Mira submitted the loan application to *****, Mira had no legal authority to interfere with my business relationship with *****, in any capacity; Additionally, Mira questions my “frame of mind” for standing up for myself; perhaps it is Mira’s way of doing business that should be questioned. In closing, Mira also says that I’m “out of control”; that’s rich coming from a company that: substituted an inflated price of $8995 for the true price of $7995 on the application; tried to over-charge me by over $1,400: admits, in writing, that it interfered with my business relationship with ***** credit union; submitted knowingly false information on a loan application; transmitted knowingly false information over the internet and/or texts; admits to discriminating against my approved income as “unacceptable”; and, I believe, is also discriminating against me because I’m a 68-year-old disabled man and possibly more; and the worst part is that apparently Mira believes that it cannot be held responsible for its actions because the sale never went through; I find that both interesting and disturbing; what about ethics? Are they not welcome in business transactions anymore? The BBB tried to help resolve this issue and I thank them; but considering the new evidence provided, in writing, by Mira itself, I will be contacting the **** Attorney General first. I think it’s important to help see that other seniors, disabled persons, or anyone else for that matter, are not treated the same way Mira treated me. I love my new car and I got a better deal than Mira tried to give me, that’s for sure.

      To whom it May Concern,

I am writing to you to address the complaint from *** ********. We at Mira Auto Sales will be more than willing to meet in person at the offices of the BBB or the  Attorney General.  At this meeting we deem it necessary to have all the information regarding this matter to be available for all to examine. At this meeting we also find it necessary to have a representative from all the parties mentioned, BBB representative, ***** Credit Union representative, one of us at Mira Auto Sales and obviously *** ******** himself. We believe that the party with the most experience and knowledge of this situation would be ***** Credit Union, with that being said we feel that they need to be contacted so they may give the most updated information about the rules and regulations followed under **** *****.   *** ******** is claiming that we attempted to get funding on three separate, loans under his name, which is inaccurate.  In the forms he has attached and circled, it states only 1 loan can be funded.  ** ********  also failed to attach the approval form from *****, which we worked with as best we could to get him approved.
I am certain ** ******** as well as all the parties mentioned above would like to see an end to this situation, and if that is *** ********'s intent he will be more then willing to agree to this meeting with all the parties present.  We feel this would be the only way that all the information can be presented in its entirety to all those involved.  We feel that in a sit down meeting like this the experts who have the knowledge of the rules and regulations under **** ***** would be able to better explain in person. If all parties aren't willing to meet and discuss this matter at hand we find it only fair to remove any and all information on your website concerning this matter, we feel that the information is one sided until all parties have brought forth all of the information in this matter. We are looking forward to hearing back to hopefully have a time and date in which we can resolve this matter once and for all.

      Sincerely,
      Saba H*****
