My wife and I have a 9 week old puppy. Recently, our puppy was extremely lethargic and unsteady after a long day outdoors, however our concern was that she had slept for 3 hours and when we woke her she couldnt stand up or walk. We took her to the Vet in ********* who stated that all her vital signs were normal, an x-ray of the abdomen was normal, and she may just need fluids, but said they were closing and suggested Gradys. The ********* vet sent the abdomen xray via email to Gradys. Upon our arrival at Gradys, they asked if they could set up an IV. We said yes. They asked if they could do a drug test. We said no. After our puppy was in their back room for about 30 minutes they asked us to come into a room. We then met with a vet and a nurse and they put a proposed treatment plan in front of us for over $2000! And, that it could cost up to 25% more! We said we did not want to spend that kind of money and stated that we were hopeful that the iv fluids would work and we could just bring her home. They said ok but that we would have to pay a $1000 deposit. Feeling we had no other choice, we agreed but stated that we didnt want any extra tests unless the IV fluids didnt work. At this point an hour had gone by, and they brought us back to see our puppy. We expected that she would be hooked up to an iv, but she was just laying there with no hookups. We asked why they hadnt started an iv yet and they said we were waiting for us to sign. We were upset because we had given that permission an hour before when we first walked in! They said they would hook her up after we left. We were suspicious that they were stringing this out for extra money but we felt we had no choice since it was already 7pm and no other vets were open. All told, the puppy was totally fine by morning. Our bill for a 9 week old puppy brought in with normal vital signs and a clean xray? that only needed fluids? $889!!Yes, they took advantage of us. If you can go anywhere else, do it!

Had to reschedule a follow-up appt. for our dog who was being treated for various maladies. Though I arrived early, there wasnt a single parking space available - NONE! When I called from my car, no one offered any solutions, just excuses as to why there were no spots!! Apparently, some genius decided to schedule an all staff meeting knowing they did not have the parking spaces to accommodate patients!! The receptionist, ***, just kept offering the same ridiculous excuse. When I called back to reschedule, she told me I couldnt reschedule without talking to someone in Internal Medicine. We have never been told that before, ever. We have no choice but to go back there tomorrow because my dog needs her follow up appointment! So, two days in a row, my poor little anxious dog will need to be taken over there because they cant even figure out how to put patients first and plan staff meetings for times that do not interfere with patient care. I cannot even wrap my mind around the stupidity of it all! Going forward, well be at ***************** Hospital! -***************************

Our dog wasn’t able to keep anything down, not even water, was having bloody diarrhea, and was very dehydrated. Grady’s website states 24 hour emergency service so we headed there from KY at 3 in the morning. We were told by Grady to go to one of 2 other emergency vets bc there was only 1 vet at Grady and he had just gone into surgery so he wasn’t available. How can they advertise themselves as emergency 24 hour vets to vulnerable people who love their pets as their own family, and then tell them to go somewhere else. These places are for pets that may be in life threatening conditions or circumstances. These places charge an arm & a leg and should be looked into by authorities!

Thank you to all the wonderful, friendly, helpful staff! The price was expensive for surgery which pet owners are never really prepared for. But let me tell you it was a very serious situation they preformed and did a great job. Thank you to all of the staff of true professionals. Because of you our loving dobi keeps shining and living on. We would and will highly recommend you!

Our experience at Grady's was not only the worst veterinary experience of our lives, it was the worst customer experience we have ever had with any business. There is not enough space to list all of the things that went wrong with Grady's so we are actually launching a website/blog to detail what happened, and to ensure that Grady's can never do this to another unsuspecting pet owner in the Cincinnati area ever again. The TL:DR is that Grady's failed on every level, from intake to communication, price gouging, treatment blunders and last but definitely not least, customer service. They were the rudest, most clueless and most unprofessional people I have ever had to deal with. We thought our dog was going to die in their care. We are currently pursuing legal action for the damage Grady's caused in this situation. These people are straight from the pits of Hades. I can not understate just how bad our experience at this hospital was. I will not place the link here, because I don't want the review to be removed, but I am certain that a web search or social media search will lead anyone reading this to our new blog and our story detailing our experience at this absolute sham of a veterinary clinic. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR PET!!!

First two dogs things went well. We brought in a third dog with parvo. While I know this is a hard disease to go through called the next day and they said he was ready to pick up. Brought him out wrapped in potty pads and stated that he was still not eating after the deposit had already been paid they said take him home he will be fine. We came back and the dog had to be hospitalized again. There are some really great people that work there just this experience gave us a very sour taste.

Last night I took my dog here to be checked out because she was having trouble breathing . I called before going there they told me I should definitely bring her in . When I got there they said they would triage her and within 2 minutes they brought her back and said you can keep her with you until we call you back . If her breathing gets worse let us know then they decided to go ahead and put me in a room . The room was freezing. I proceeded to sit in this room for the next 3 hours without anyone coming in to check on her anyone coming in to see her . I spoke with the gentleman in the room next door while we were standing in the hallway trying to get warm and he had told me that he had been there since 6:00 in the evening it was now after 1:00 a.m. in the morning . I had to get up at 5:00 a.m. to go to work and I had an hour drive back home so I gave up and I left because they would not check out the dog well she died before morning came . Extremely extremely disappointed in a place that is supposed to be a emergency service for animals .

This company treated me like I didn’t matter. The nurse or receptionist named Lauren, gave me dirty looks and made me feel unwelcome. I waited with my animal for 2 hours until someone finally came and talked to me. Other African American customers felt the same way. I will never return to this business again. They are not friendly to different races!

I have never, in the nine years I have owned this dog, had a vet refuse to treat him. These people had me wait for two hours then when my dog finally got to see the ******* Dr **** G****, he refused to even look at my dog because my dog was being a little difficult. I've had vets ask to muzzle him and I have no problem with that because he's 80lbs of muscle but never have I had a vet that won't see my dog unless he's sedated. He didn't bother to look at my dog but still gave me his ********** medical opinion. I was told after no examination that my dog had a tumor and I would have to amputate his foot
