      We ordered a dumpster on 7/15 to be delivered for a home renovation project. It was promised on 7/19 and not delivered until 7/23. We called on 7/30 to notify them to pick it up. They said this would happen on 8/3 but did not happen until 8/6. During that time it rained heavily and the carpet and drywall that was in the dumpster became waterlogged. The company did not provide a cover for the dumpster. After pickup I was notified I would be charged an additional $149.25 because the dumpster was overweight. Our contractor followed guidelines on the amount of materials to put in the dumpster but because the company did not provide a cover, delayed pick-up, which allowed the materials to become waterlogged this caused the charge for this overweight. I have contacted the business by phone every day for the last two weeks to speak to someone about this in customer service and have been hung up on each time. This charge is the fault of the company and I want it refunded.

      We are sympathetic to this customer’s concerns. However, our terms state that it’s the customer’s responsibility to take precautions to cover or tarp the dumpster to prevent rain accumulation. We regret that this did not happen on the customer’s part, as rain can affect the weight of the debris. Upon pick up of the dumpster, the container is elevated to allow any stagnant water to drain out. This assisted in removal of any excess water. It is unlikely that the dumpster’s extra weight is strictly due to rain water. We do sincerely apologize that the final removal of the dumpster was delayed. The customer was sent a credit as a one-time courtesy for this inconvenience. We kindly request that this is marked resolved.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is ok.  I am still incredibly disappointed by the lack of customer service in trying to resolve this matter.  I called the business every day for a week and each time I was transferred to customer service I was hung up on.  Also while we did not take it upon ourselves to cover to the dumpster they were supposed to pick it up days before they actually did and the rain happened in that time. The delivery of the dumpster was also late and that held up construction. At this point I don't know what it is worth to go back and forth with this company over this.  I will leave negative reviews of their service online.

      On September 14th, I was to receive a dumpster at *** ***** ******** ** ** Salisbury, CT. at a cost of $626. A dumpster was guaranteed to be delivered no later than 9 AM (I recorded our conversation). After I couldn't reach anyone to get answers as to why they they still hadn't arrived by 11 AM, I then cancelled it. Nevertheless, It arrived after we left at 1 PM but by then, I had payed $35 an hour to 4 men who were waiting to load the dumpster which was nearly the cost of the dumpster! Adding insult to injury, each time I called I was put on hold for 20-30 minutes and called "sir" (I'm a woman) even after I told them I wasn't a man. No one really listened or cared. I was transferred dozens of times, then once I finally reached John C. , 24 hours after trying to reach him, he hung up on me before I could explain . what had happened to have some resolution.

      This customer’s dumpster was delivered on the requested delivery date. We regret that the dumpster did not arrive in the morning, as she preferred. However, our representative never guaranteed a specific delivery time. We do not guarantee delivery times, and such messaging is included in the confirmation details. We do regret that this customer did not have a more pleasant experience speaking with our team and sincerely apologize for any shortcomings in that regard. The customer is extended a discount on a future dumpster rental as reparation. However, as the dumpster was delivered on the correct day requested, there will be no refund.

      Hello, I reached out to Budget Dumpster on 08.18.21 and per the pictures on the website, the measurements for a 20 yard Dumpster are 4.5ft by 7.5ft by 22ft. Because I knew the dumpster would be that big, I ordered the permit for 30 days instead of 3 and paid more money. When my dumpster arrived a few days later, I called and told them it was too small and I would be done with this dumpster in less than 3 days. I then asked for the permit to be changed to 3 days and the cost to reflect such. Their response was I ordered a 20 yard dumpster but just got it in a different shape. I then took the rep to the website and asked her to measure the 20 yard dumpster and even she determined that the measurements were wrong. They actually equaled a 30 yard dumpster per her words. She said well you ordered a 20 yard dumpster and you got one and my response was I ordered per your incorrect measurements!! In addition they charged me for a 30 day permit after I told them to pick it up in 3 days and whe

      They just lied and I have picture to prove it and they owe me the money for the permit being beyond what I needed
