    I never took our this supposed protection plan. They must have gotten credit card information from my internet provider. They also said that i updated my information on a set of dates during which i was unavailable. They have been leaving text messages and flooding my email with ads for their service. When I called to resolve this, i explained that I did not take the protection plan, that i could not have updated any information on the dates they claim i did, and that, since I do not have own the equipment they are claiming i am insuring with them, it is illegal for me to insure it. After all of this, they say that they will not stop harassing me and will send my "outstanding balance" to collections.

    In November when there was an internet outage in our area, I called the ******* ******* ******* ****** (on my statement/bill) for assistance. After a few minutes of going through the automated process of getting tech support, a woman started talking to me about the ******* **** *******. I was no longer to call the ******* support phone number on my statement/bill but was to call the 800 numbers she gave me. I told her several times I was needing tech support, however, I wasn't able to move on until I spoke with her about the tech support she was offering. I actually thought I was talking with an ******* representative and that the tech support was changing or being outsourced. My husband and I contacted ******* ******* staff and found out that Plan Protection Center is NOT a part of ******** that we were scammed. ******* made it very clear that we don't need this service. That this was fraudulent activity. That the woman I spoke with was an "imposter" pretending to be a ******* representative. I was definitely taken advantage of. I am seeking a refund. If I don't get the refund I will take legal action. I am an intelligent, educated person who is not easily deceived, however, I was lied to and deceived that day. This was out right fraudulent activity.

    I noticed charges on my father's credit card and even though it's likely my father approved the charges, I explained my father's mental incapacitation and they listened. After looking into it, Ida from customer support credited back the protection plan charges for services not used after my father moved to a memory care facility. They have a process regarding refunds but they also listen and do the right thing.

    This company managed to scam my mother out of some money and they won't refund it. My mother is 82 years old, has mild dementia, is very hard of hearing, and is on Social Security Disability. She can't afford anything this company has to offer nor does she want it or need it. I called this company and they were belligerent, rude, and they absolutely couldn't care less about my mothers situation. ZERO STARS

    I was confused about coverage and representative, I think she said Ada, was very helpful to explain to me the benefits and coverage of the three year plan for my xfinity. I have not had to file a claim, but she explained to me that the fee for the three year coverage was what a one-time service call would be from xfinity coming inside home to work on equipment. Xfinity charges and we send Protection Plan the bill and they reimburse us, is what she explained to me. I was so glad to speak to a real person.

    I have been harassed by this company non stop. They are extremely rude and began swearing at me when I did not want to renew my subscription (that I didn't even know I had). Once I was hung up on for not renewing, I called back into the 800 number and was again talked down for asking to speak with a manager. I have asked this company on multiple occasions to put me on their do not call list yet I continue to receive threatening phone calls. After speaking with a manager (Ida) she confirmed that she sees the multiple requests in her system of me asking to be put on the do not call list, but she doesn't know why I continue to receive calls. She was going to review the call from her employee at 1:56 and escalate to her general manager. Ida went on to review my call from 4/22/24 when I also asked to be put on the do not call list. I simply asked that they do not call me any longer. The employees are beyond rude, and will immediately begin to argue with you and insult you when you do not want to participate in their scam. I advised Ida that I was reporting to the Better Business Bureau for harassment and threats.

    I was calling in because i had charges that i did not accept over. My first connection to the line was connected with covit* ****. I later asked if i could be transferred to a manager because i wanted to hear back my recording of my purchase. I was connecter to a manager named Phill****** I explained to him about my concern of a purchase i did not accept when purchasing the protection plan. He said that he does not have the recording. He then starts to state that i purchased the plan most likely because it was given at half price. While im trying to explain my case he starts to raise my voice and tells me if i talk over him he will put me on hold. He then puts me on hold and asks if im done like a child. I did not raise my voice to this manager. All i was doing was asking questions about the unagreed purchase. He then starts to ask if i would like to continue to stay on the plan and starts making a sale. i then kindly say im no longer interested. And he starts getting upset that i will loose Hundreds of dollars on the plan. He then rudely with a raised voice says i have to pay the remaining balanced and i was transfered to covita *****. I Just want to leave a review that Phill***** the manager was very rude and i have never encountered customer service agent in that manner. I strongly believe that Phill***** needs to go back and take a customer service call class. Because of my encounter with Phill#120 it strongly made me not want to do business with protection plan center. Covita***** quoted that my voice was not raised at all. And when i asked to cancel my plan she was more than happy to help me with the service. She is a excellent customer service rep and made my transaction smoothly. She she be hired to manger enrollment over Phill*****. Again Phill***** doesn't seem to have the patience or knowledge of how to address a customers concern on there current plan. I was already confused trying to understand my plan. Phill***** made that transaction unpleasant.

    This company has been harassing me on false claims for the past 6 months. I am at the point where I feel I need a lawyer. The “invoice” that was sent to my e-mail is unclear and continues to go up. I don’t even know how this company got my e-mail or my card info. The only reason their tactics were discovered is because they called when they were NO longer able to charge my credit card automatically....and I answered the call. THANK GOODNESS! They have been getting free money from me for almost a year. I am very unhappy and I was told while speaking with their representative that I will “continue to be harassed because I am still receiving a “service””. This is after I told them that I have not been receiving any service from them and that I do not even know what it is they are “protecting”. I don’t have any virus protection on my laptop or my IPhone. The lady on the phone stated the service was to protect against identity theft/virus protection on pc and phone. That doesn’t even add up. I’d like to see the proof!
