  I rented a house for 2 years in which I was downstairs in Main House, a male rented what was described as a room upstairs with another occuying what was described as the "back" house situated in back of main house. It was written in the lease and stated when signing that the "owner" in my case property owner/managers would do grass cutting and snow shoveling.....it happened once in my 2 year tenancy. I never received any action when I requested through call or maintenance portal. At the time of walk thru (move in) it was noted on my lease specific things management was willing to do, key to back door (took 7 months), replacing 2 blinds (never happened and I had to buy and install) and general clean as there were mice feces found in light fixtures and window sills (I had to pay to have cleaned) in addition the back house backyard looked like junk yard with things such as ladders and beer cans even left in front yard which noone ever cleaned even the tenant himself. I got tired of paying an extra $100 a month for grass cutting that I clearly was not supposed to be paying, the women in the office were very nasty and rude. They never contacted me to renew a lease, just renewed it and finally I went in January to get a copy because I knew something was wrong and there was an additional name written in my lease as if there was an additional tenant. Sam _______ never had anything to say to me but a couple of times I received texts or pounding on door at 8 or 9:00 pm from random men who said "Sam sent them and they need to get into basement. They never responded to any 95% of maintenance issues, I either did it myself or left with no response which is why I moved.....something was going on and I feel like that house was sold out from under and the owner played a bigger part....they had not concern for junk yards and grass build up, the houses can look condemned from outside and transnational could care less

  I was a past tenant and want to have on record with BBB the bad business of this company. The house is a two-level duplex at **** ********* *** ****** ******** **, and the exterior is neglected with house needing to be painted and overgrown weeds. The detached garage has non working doors, neglected exterior, and needs to be torn down and rebuilt. Snow removal either is not completed, or an old truck does an incomplete job. Landscaping is completed in 15 to 20 minutes, and no weeding or clean up. Water was leaking in the basement which was an ongoing problem before I moved in. Major construction was completed and backyard was torn up, and lower level porch had to be torn down. The backyard was not cleaned up, construction materials left behind, and took about 6 months before porch was rebuilt. Maintenance requests such as hole in the ceiling, heating pipe in the basement fell apart do not get repaired in a timely fashion with no communication from the office. Before I moved, the house was in the process of being sold and had to endure strangers walking through entire duplex. I was a good tenant who kept my place clean, picked up trash, and had auto debit for rent payment. The property manager, Sam ***** neglected the property, and maintenance requests. After moving, I was charged for carpet cleaning and did not receive my entire deposit. I asked several times to get the remaining deposit owed to me, but no response. I do not recommend anyone renting from this company.
