    Contacted ***** 4-13-22 for estimate on siding my house I got several estimates & decided to go with *****, I wanted to keep my business with someone that somewhat knew, my daughter is friends with his son, and his wife is a known realtor in our community so it made me feel comfortable est was for 11,250 9-12 I gave 1/2 payment, showed him what I wanted & asked to make fascia thicker, cut overhang porch, add gutter he quoted me 3,000 said could do for 2,700, I agreed 9-15 receive text material was ordered, would start 2-3 weeks Started on 10-21 10-28 I text when they would be back, things were looking off to me Came back 11-2 showed him that the fascia wasnt flush, some siding was hanging, a buckle under water spicket, and parts of the metal around my door weren’t cut right, He said they would fix 11-10 texted me they was done, balance was 8,625 added $300 that was never spoken about Over the weekend I notice gutters were leaking the siding was hanging under window, & behind garage was siding sticking out He came & fixed some said I didnt have to pay remaining bill till rest was done if I wasnt comfortable, told him I was just worried he reassured me that he stands by all his work & even down the road if there was a problem he would fix it, I paid 5,000 of what was owed till they came back on 11-22 and paid remaining 12-6 I sent a text/pics with issues said he would be over that week to fix, no show 12-13 I sent another text said he would be over Friday, no show I had some personal issues go on and didnt have time to harass him to come fix his work After life settled on 4-18 sent text where to send bill hoping for response, he didnt respond back 4-19 Son showed up unannounced, I told him that siding needed to be ordered and his dad needed to contact me, heard nothing 8-14 I sent text stating that I dont have time to keep dealing with this & after having other contractor look at it there are many issues & for HIM to please contact me to fix them, nothing again

    Hello, I’m sorry you were so upset you had decided to do a formal complaint on my company. As you posted, when you weren’t happy, after completion,  I did come back and fixed the issues, these issues  aren’t normally issues that arise on a siding job, you have a slab home that had settlement issues, nothing on your home was square, causing a harder install job, I did show you how some portions were unlevel( your home )  I apologized that there was an issue after install, when you called me, nothing major,  just a little adjustments, I also explained to my employees after I reviewed your complaint, what should have happened while we were there.So it didn't happen in the future.  
    When the work was done to your Satisfaction, you gave me final payment and I left. During the winter you messaged me you had one loose piece of siding, I told you we would be back in the spring, due to the weather you can’t cut siding,and since your color is a back ordered, specialty, we didn't want to crack it, this was going to be an easy fix, siding sometimes comes undone in storms, you reattach and throw an extra nail or too in. I sent my associate that happens to be my son, who has been doing siding for 7 plus years. The piece of siding that was loose was on the exterior of the home and was visible from outside, when he went to your property, you told him to leave!! When you're running a construction company and there's storms and you have other clients that you're doing jobs for you can't just drop what you're doing to run over to another property and it didn't help that we did have times that we were supposed to meet I did get Covid. I was extremely sick, so I did have Associates of mine helping me runny company while I was laid up,  If you would have allowed him to fix the siding while he was there, none of this would have happened. After he was kicked off the property because you said you wanted to hire another company to fix the piece of siding,  you then text me and said that you wanted me to pay another company to fix the piece of siding,  when we came to fix it for free ourselves, the company who installed it. I stand by my work, and tried to fix the issue and you kicked my employee off the property.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    None of their responses are the truth! I contacted ***** back not even 2 weeks after the final payment was received in December for a piece of siding that was hanging and leaking gutters. I never got a response back from ***** through this entire thing. Sorry you came down with covid ang got sick, if another employee was in charge wouldn't you pass along my info to them to get on your schedule? An employee(son) wasn't sent to my house until I sent a text where to have the bill sent hoping for a response from *****. Instead of taking care of YOUR customer you put your employee (son) in an awkward position sending him over the next day not knowing of any of the issues that were going on MONTHS later because you couldn't contact me back. You state that only minor adjustments needed to be made, a couple screws that I only had a loose piece of siding, why wasn't that taken care of? Why did you allow it to get to the point that it did crack? That once again you didn't find out about the cracked piece until you sent your son over in APRIL UNANNOUNCED. When your son left after knowing new siding needed ordered (he didn't have any to fix the issue) and was told to have ***** contact me once again, why wasn't I contacted back? I was never rude to ****** (SON) or being WEIRD, I just explained the situation and that I was sorry he was put in that position and to please have his dad (*****) contact me. Also if I had settlment issues and there was a problem with the instalation of the siding why wasn't I informed of that? That is all new to me!
