I financed a used vehicle with Ohio Wholesale Auto (OWA) on 9/16/22. I put $3,500 as a down payment for a 2015 Kia, with scheduled bi-weekly payments of $194.00. My prior vehicle needed major work, including a new transmission. Since OWA would not take my old vehicle as a trade-in, I actually gave this vehicle to the salesman, *****, at no cost for his personal use. The temporary license plate I was provided with expired on 10/31/22. I was residing in Columbus, Ohio at the time of financing to purchase this vehicle. Mid-October I ended up moving back to New Jersey with my mom and sisters, continuing to make bi-weekly payments for this vehicle. The temporary license plate expired on 10/31, so I went to New Jersey motor vehicle agency to get car registered in NJ and to obtain permanent plates. (I have had insurance on car entire time, including to present day). NJ Motor vehicle informed me that in order to register the car in NJ, OWA would need to send the title of the car directly to them. After car is registered, NJ Motor Vehicle would then mail the original title directly back to OWA. It took from October 2022 to June 2023 for OWA to finally send the title to New Jersey, as myself and my mom contacted numerous staff via phone, mail, etc. When New Jersey finally received the title, I was contacted to come for appointment to get car registration and plates. The day of my appointment in June, I was told that OWA needed an EIN# in order for me to register and get plates. I contacted "Whitney" at OWA and she informed me it would take 7-10 business days for them to apply for a NJ EIN#. It is now August 16th, nine months after purchasing this car, and OWA refuses to follow-up. I have been unable to drive this car since NOVEMBER 1st, despite continuing to make payments bi-weekly- up until a couple weeks ago when I called and informed them I would not make any more payments on a car I cannot drive

Financed a car from them and only had it for 2 months. The owner got my car towed and when I asked them about it they was acting clueless on what happened with my vehicle. Turns out they towed it because of a late payment in the month of April, I asked for my $1000 down payment back so I can purchase another vehicle and the owner stated my down payment went towards a rental & I am not eligible to purchase a rental because of my age ! I still have been trying to get back my down payment & I’ve been getting ignored

Here is also the statement from my cashapp account showing that I did make my payment. The owner is stating that my down payment went towards repairs & a rental. I just turned 20 years old in February, you cannot get a rental until you are 21 years old. Then said it went towards repairs but when I got the vehicle is had a cracked windshield & a broken gas tank that he was supposed to have the mechanic fixed & it never gotten fixed !

Customer went through westlake financial they have a policy that if you don’t make your first payment they cancel the deal and send it back to us and we have to repurchase the deal, we had to pay vehicle taxes and the vehicle came back damaged the hood, front bumper grill and fender, and windshield damage and the repo fee we had to pay take all of that no deposit refunded.

On January 16, 2023, I purchased a '13 Nissan Altima. I put down $1500 and the transmission went out 4 days after purchase. So, so they put me in a '14 Ford Escape on March 11, 2023, and I had to put down $1750. The transmission went out on March 19th. It is sitting in a parking lot. I called them and asked them to tow it back to their shop but Mr. ***** said he wouldn't do it. He said it was my responsible. My next payment is due April 9th, and it is $339.

I purchased a car from this lot and have had trouble getting insurance on it due to the lot. I had to wait months to get my tags that were already expired. My car was repo'd off of 2 missed payments and I was unable to pay the amount to get the car back.

    Hello,

Ms. ***** must carry full coverage insurance and shows Ohio Wholesale Autosales llc as the lien holder of the vehicle before we can release it due to she is still making payments to the company, when that process is complete she may retrieve the vehicle with no issues but she must carry full coverage insurance.

    Thanks

I purchased a 2011 GMC Acadia on 12.10.22. The engine went out on the 12th or 14th of January. I called Ohio Wholesale Auto Sales LLC. They told me to tow it to Escobar at **** ********* ***. OWA said it was the engine and they were looking for an engine. I called Escobar, and they told me they hadn't heard from OWA and to get my car off their lot. I went to the lot, and the car appears to have been vandalized. I called OWA and they told me they would put me in something else.

I was making bi-weekly payments, but have since lost my job. I went in to make a payment, but the salesman told me not to make the payment because nobody knew what was going on with the car. My payments were $225 a week.
