Paid off my Goodys-Comenity credit card and told the company to cancel the card. The company still proceeds to send bills although I have not charged the card. Goodys is no longer in business so there is no need to have the credit card.

On 8/12/21 I drove 45 minutes to a Victoria's Secret store to return 2 bras that were purchased with my Victoria's Secret Card.  I was given the total of ****** to return to my card.  I was told the registers were not working properly and it could not be returned to my card.  My payment was due on 8/17/21 which is why I went in that day to return the items. I ended up in this store at the register for 2 HOURS!!!   2 whole hours.  Being passed from register to register and employee to employee.  I was on the phone with VS customer service as were the employees.  Finally, I was given a case number#******* and told that ****** would be returned to my VS card.  I was told there was an error with the old case.
Days later I received a voicemail saying my case was closed and the 'double charges were removed'.  This was not a case about double charges!!  I logged in and saw there was the wrong amount credited to my card and that there was a balance due on the card.  (I paid for the merchandise I kept, my card should have zero balance an
On 8/18 I phoned Victorias Secret store relations yet again and was promised that  a remaining credit of ***** would be posted to my card.  I spoke with Gabby.  The case number is #********.  I am sick and tired of calling and following up on this.  Something so simple as returning two bras and now I am charged interest on my card, I am shown that a balance is due and now my payment will be late.  I am not paying because I do not owe a payment.  Take responsibility and remove all charges including interest charges from my account, and notify the credit agency that my **** is not overdue.  The amounts shown due are not valid.

While shopping on the Avenue website, I saw it advertised that if you apply for the credit card that if approved, you get 20 percent off that first order. Because of this incentive, I applied for the card and was approved, but when I tried placing the order I did not get 20% off. After this I spent an entire day calling between the store and the credit card company Comenity bank. No one would help me, the store says put the order thru then it will automatically come off when you use the credit card, but it didn’t. Then they said contact the bank they give you the sign on code for the 20%. I called Comenity bank, they said the sign up bonus is custo**** but comes from the store. This morning I received an email from the store supervisor again telling me that Comenity bank gives me the discount. At this point I am beyond frustrated, it feels like false advertising as I probably wouldn’t have thought to open this card without the advertised incentive. It seems like a bait and switch.
