In late June my washer stopped working. I called AHW and they had someone come out and figure out why it was not working.. The repairman said the washer was too old to fix and reported their finding to AHW. AHW said they would compensate me around $278 to buy a new washer since the my washer could not be repaired. I called AHW for three straight months asking where the check is and they said it would be mailed out. Finally, I stopped payment with AHW until they resolve this issue and they have yet to send me a check. I tried calling them and the phone recording says they locked my account and I have no way of getting in touch with them. I am requesting to be paid in full ($278) for my washer from AHW as they should stick to their word on what they said they would provide me to buy a new washer.Initial Complaint

AHW is not reachable for any service requests, few weeks back I raised service request for heating furnace malfunction on their website, but few days later their website is down, and phone calls are unanswered. They seemed to gone out of business and throw existing customer in limbo? I'm going to replace my furnace as suggested by other service provider, but as per this contract i need to get $2500 reimbursed for replacement. I still have the contract document which says active till 10/11/2025. Can I get suggestion on my next steps to claim my refund for failure to fix home warranty items as explained in the plan. I filed a claim with the company to have a repair completed. The company sent a repairman out who charged me for a service fee. The repairman then needed approval for repair. During this time, the AHWP phone number is no longer in service. I have no way of following up on claim or inquiring about policy. I have been trying for weeks and number is still unavailable. Yearly home warranty Contract ********** renewed on January 11, 2023 in the amount of $530.00 with an expiration date of 4/27/24. I filed two claims via phone on October 10, 2023. I received two emails that day confirming my claims and a statement that a repairman would contact me within two days. After not receiving any calls, I attempted to contact the company today but all the phones have been disconnected/blocked and the customer service website has been taken down. I emailed the company today stating I wanted to cancel the contract and I expect a refund as the contract states I am due.Initial Complaint

They did not honor the contract. They did not pay full price for the repairs or replacement of two household machines. They also approved for me to have an outside company come in to assess the dishwasher and dryer, and then refused to reimburse me for that visit, which was approved ahead of time by them. They also have changed their phone. They mailed out two checks to me in the amount of $299 each, stating that they did so 3 1/2 to 4 weeks ago, and I have not received the checks today. They stopped responding to any forms of communication I also requested that they cancel my contract and reimburse me, and they have refused to contact me to do so.Initial Complaint

I reached out to Amazon home warranty about my broken dishwasher in late February the representative told me they had no repair people to look at this dishwasher and told me to call a service provider I called ***** home services they came out and charged me 99 dollars and diagnosed the problem with the dishwasher as the pump was bad repair cost 590 dollars they said they would not pay that much and I would get 390 dollars in total this was now may they told me I would receive a check in 2 weeks I have called every two weeks since then and they tell me the same thing. I tried to call this morning the phone number *** *** **** and it comes up your account is locked on the answering service I have no other number for them unless u can give me another number I paid 1425 dollars for this warranty I have not received any money from them the warranty coverage I paid for it expires June 10 2025 I want to cancel this coverage and be reimbursed for the 18 months left on the contractInitial Complaint

I purchased a 3 year warranty plan in 2021. I have used the services a couple times already. I put in a claim online a couple weeks ago and the plumber never came out. AHW emailed asking if the came out and I replied that they didn't. I received a call from AHW verifying the the issue had not been resolved. They said they would contract a new plumber. I haven't received any confirmation emails. I tried both phone numbers they have on their website and they don't go to them anymore. So now I've had a water leak in my bathroom causing even more damage.Initial Complaint

I paid 1500 for a 3 year home warranty. The service is terrible. They do not send out contractors to make repairs. They always deny the claim and when they approve it, they do not send out any money. They claimed they would send me 200 two to three months ago and never sent it. I want to cancel the contract and receive a pro rata reimbursement for my 1500. They are non responsive. I believe they have committed fraud.
