On April 1, 2022, I purchased an Infiniti QX50 from Germain Infiniti of Easton. The saleperson was EXCEPTIONAL. My issues all originated in the finance office. I worked with *** **********. She is beyond dishonest. She told me that if I didn't purchase certain packages with my car, the deal couldn't be finalized. I purchased a key protection plan for $209, an additional service contract for $1915, and lastly a Vehicle Protection Product-Premier Defense Ultra for $1485. As didn't want to not get the car that I wanted, I took the key & service contract at the time of purchase as *** stated I wouldn't be able to purchased the car without the package. However a few days later I canceled the $209 & $1915. The dealership refunded the $2124 to the finance company. The dealership is refusing to refund the taxes that were paid on both of these products. The Premier Defense Ultra for $1485 was for interior and exterior protection of my vehicle. While at the dealership, the interior protection was "supposedly" applied. When I asked *** if they could apply the exterior protection she stated that the car would have to sit overnight for the and cure, so they wouldn't be able to do that on April 1 and I could have this applied at any Infiniti dealership. I live almost 2 hours from this dealership, so I was happy to know this could be applied at a dealership close to me. However, I've had no success in getting the exterior coated as the dealerships close to me do not carry the product. I reached out to Germain and expressed my issue on 5/25. On 5/26, *** ********** stated that the exterior coating was applied while I waited to complete my financing. This is IMPOSSIBLE! Ever dealership and even *** have all stated the same thing - the product has to cure and sit overnight. It can not be applied and driven the same day. At this point, either Germain can refund the difference of $900 or provide me with a rental car and apply the exterior coating to my car.
