I went to **** Wahlberg Chevrolet Tuesday Dec.4,2024 to purchase a truck. On a rainy night I test drove the truck on E. and purchased a 2017 Chevrolet Trax. I noticed the windshield had a crack and asked them to fix it. I was asked to bring it back for repair. I did and they gave me a loaner. I remembered I didnt tell them the check engine light came on my Chevrolet Trax. Called Francky said dont worry. I called the next couple days the truck was not ready. I didnt get my truck back til December 14. I get the truck back I hear something like rain hitting the hood and the engine light comes on and off again and my tire sensor light .. I make an appointment with *** They say they can only fix tire sensor not the check engine or sounds. I make another appointment with a different MWC. I ask how long will it take to check. They said 1 hr. I take it in. They take keys and say well call you in a few days when its ready. I say no thats not what they said. I say ok.. just give me loaner for work. They say they dont have a loaner. I leave and take my truck to ********* for oil change. The guy takes oil cap off and immediately says maam come here. He shows me where my oil was supposed to be. It looks like oil and coolant has mixed together. He told me to take my car to the dealership. I go there immediately. They sent me to service department to make an appointment for me to pay $3000 to get it fixed if its a blow gasket and $189 for a diagnostic I have barely had the car for a month. I had all these problems and the lights keep coming on and off. Im tired. I need to work. I cant work without my truck. I took it to another repair They ran a diagnostic and found six codes in the history. I told **** Wahlberg about that I havent heard anything from them. I have the paperwork showing the six different engine codes in the history. I cant pay for these repairs and make car payments too. Please help me.Business Response

Apologies for the delayed response
Our records show the vehicle has not been in for service since January 2nd where the tire pressure sensor was replaced at no cost to the customer. No known other issues were known to the service department at the time of this visit.
A member of our service department has called the customer and is hoping to hear back soon to see if there is any other information. The other service performed on the vehicle after the purchase was suspension work and a c/v axel shaft replacement.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent purchase of a 2024 Chevrolet Traverse from **** **********************/Worthington on May 31st 2024. Not only has the vehicle experienced multiple serious issues, but my attempts to resolve them have been met with poor customer service, adding to my ********************************* screen works sporadically Essential features are unreliable due to frequent malfunctions.2.Check engine light is on A concerning issue for a brand-new vehicle.3.Rearview camera not working A major safety hazard that should not be present.4.Puddle lights do not work A feature that should be fully functional.5.Recall issue Adding to my concerns about quality control.Poor Customer Service:Lack of urgency in addressing my concerns.Unhelpful or dismissive responses from dealership/service representatives.Delays in scheduling repairs despite the vehicle being under *********** clear resolution plan despite multiple attempts to address these defects. We bought a brand new car at this dealership on 10-25-2024. The car we wanted had just been sold so they were able to find that same car from another dealership out of ********. So we did all the paperwork and was told to come back on 10-26-2024 and pick it up. We did that and everything seemed to be fine. It is now 12-18-2024 and we have yet to receive a memorandum, title. I have made numerous calls to the dealership and all I get is voicemails and if I do get to talk to somebody, oh well, well get back to you and they never get back with you. A memorandum title is supposed to be mailed to you within 30 to 45 days and it is almost 60 days now I called the *** and they told me that I could go to my local title office and get my memorandum title and they had nothing on file with that VIN number in my name. so I proceeded to call the dealership back and nobody seems to know whats going on. I am very highly upset. I cannot drive my car right now because the plates are probably no good because it has been longer than 45 days so Im really kind of driving on expired plates. I dont wanna get pulled over for anything. What if I was in an accident or something and I dont have proof to show that I have this car my name other than the paperwork. I will never ever deal with this company again because they dont want to return your calls. You can never talk to anybody on the phone. I just feel like Im getting the runaround. They made their money and now they dont wanna deal with anything. I feel that this has been going on for two months that they should pay the first two months of my car payment since I paid it myself and its the title actually hasnt even been in my name which will cost them almost $2000. Thats what I want! I also feel that I should have a rental car at their expense until all this problem gets resolved at their cost! . If they cant come to an agreement then I will have to further take it to court.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I feel that I have had this car for 2 months now and it basically wasnt even in my name and still isnt as of this moment until the actual memorandum, title carbs and I can have my registration done. They did come on 12-19-2024 and put a dealer plate on my car so I can actually drive it now until I do get my memorandum title. I just feel that *** made two months car payment on nothing something that wasnt mine yet so thats why Im asking for $2000. I feel like they should pay the first two months of car payment for me or at least reimburse it to me what Ive already paid.

Yes, **** ******. My phone number is ************. ********. My ID number is **********. **********. My complaint is the latter part of November of 21. Around November of 2021, I complained about an engine light coming on. Then I kept taking it back to **** Wahlberg Chevrolet. It stayed overnight many times, officially on paper and without paper. They kept telling me my engine is okay. There's nothing wrong. They would check the engine, send me on my way. I need another engine, and I want **** Wahlberg Chevrolet to compensate me an engine. They did not repair my engine. I took it there many, many times, eight or nine times, many, many times. It would stay overnight. I would have it towed there by triple A. They would tell me the engine's okay. They would tell me not to worry about it. They would check my oil and say, there's nothing wrong with your engine. Now, the engine is blown. I want **** Wahlberg Chevrolet to put another engine in my car. It is their fault. Again, I went there several, several, many times, had it towed. They would say stupid things like, there's nothing wrong with your engine. They would show me how to check the oil. The fluid level is okay. and it stayed all night, it would be towed many times. Now my engine is blown. I want **** Wahlberg Chevrolet to put another engine in my car. That is my resolution, another engine. Because I went there many, many times from 2021 all the way up to today. And they kept telling me that there's nothing wrong with the car, to just keep driving it. Now I need an engine and I want **** Wahlberg Chevrolet to compensate me. I need another engine for my car. It's a 2015 ***** Cruze. I went there many, many times. Thank you. My name is **** ******, 846-1477. And the complaint is against **** Wahlberg Chevrolet. I want another engine. and the owners are **** Wahlberg and *** *******. I want both *** ******* and **** Wahlberg to compensate me an engine. Purchased a vehicle on 10/2/24 from the Worthington location. They never did the certified used car inspection that they were supposed to do before any sell. The transmission is bad and the car has been wrecked, the salesman said it just got scraped later. Its been over ***************************************************************************************************************************************** two. They fired the head of service but he was the only one that told us what was really going on. The company still hasnt repaired the truck and its 1 and a half months later. The purchased vehicle was inspected. The repairs for this vehicle are covered 100% covered by the extended warranty except for their deductible. This vehicle is getting a brand new GM transmission which unfortunately is on back order. We do not have a *** on the transmission but we check everyday for an update. We have also made sure the customer has a vehicle to drive while we have their vehicle in service. We are doing everything we can to make sure the customer is not inconvenienced.Initial Complaint

On Monday October 14 I went to mark wahlberg Chevrolet Worthington location and put down $2000 for a vehicle they approved me for a 2025 ***** malibu we did all the paperwork and I received the keys and drove off with my vehicle. On Tuesday October 22 I received a call from them saying they forgot to have me sign a paper and needed to come in to do so. I came in the following day October 23 thinking I just had to sign a paper, my salesman asked me if I needed gas I said yes and gave him the key and then was told after they got the keys back that I purchased the car fraudulently and couldnt get my keys back. On October 25 they told me they were issuing me a check for $1500 of my money it would be 7-10 business days today is November ********************************************************* the run around ducking my phone calls and telling me it will be a week longer and I shouldve never gave them a bad review and wrongfully purchase the car but it was never fraud because I work for a real business. They are being super unprofessional. If I did anything fraud how was I able to even drive off in the car in the first place they contacted my employer and some sort of miscommunication occurred now we are being accused of fraud and Im being bullied/robbed of my money that I work hard for please help meBusiness Response

my experience with this dealership has been ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! On May 29th of this year i went in to get my first car & give my down payment and even on this day i did NOT leave in my own vehicle. In the first couple months i was in loaner cars more than i was in my own personal car & still had to pay a car note for a car i was not driving. When they sold me my car they had received it in on trade in & DID NOT inspect the car or anything before selling it to me. Since then i have had to take my car back to the dealership SIX TIMES (Tomorrow 9/16/24) will be the SEVENTH)for them to fix things(some of the visits being for the same issue/faulty parts)& ive only had my car for almost 4 months. I was told that i needed to contact the bank that approved me for my loan to cancel my contract on this car & when i did the bank told me that i was given false information and that the dealership was the one that had to cancel it themselves since they already had the money from the bank and my down payment. When i told the dealerships General manager this he told me its not possible but then proceeded to say that hes done it once before. Ive told them many MANY times that i dont feel safe in the vehicle and they do not care! My car has slowed down on its own multiple times on the freeway which made me have to pull over on the side of the road where other drivers around me are going 70mph or faster. Ive also been sexually harassed by a salesperson through text message, which i do have proof of! When i got my first car i NEVER expected that my experience would go this way, i feel like they are taking advantage of me since i go alone and i am a young woman in my early 20s.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because i do not feel like theres been real effort to resolve the situation. I went in about a week ago and spoke to the General Manager & a new sales person, &at first everything was going smoothly. During the whole process i cant lie they were both extremely nice to me but i feel as if their resolution is not fair at all. Since i filed my original complaint & said i was taking my car back for the 7th time, i ended up having to take it back an 8th time& its only been (almost) 5 Months since i even got my car. They said the only way i could trade in this car and get another one is if i had a co-signer, so i had my mom be one& then they said only one bank was willing to give me a loan and approve me for ONE car, only if i put another $1500 down on the car when i already put $1700 down on the piece of trash i have now. I pay my car note (which is 328.23)every month on time, my car insurance (which is 242.24)&& then theres literally been an issue with my car every 2-3 weeks and then i have to pay a 250 deductible. The week i had my 7th issue i had to make the decision to not pay my insurance for that month because i had to pay my deductible to get my car fixed after i had just paid my car note. The issues that were fixed at no charge were issues they wouldve noticed if they inspected my car prior to selling it to me/prior to me putting down $1700 which they did not.
The other issue in my original complaint was never even addressed& the whole time i was at the dealership i literally caught the sales person staring at me many many times as if he knew about my complaint. I feel like that part of my complaint wasnt taken seriously when its very unprofessional& disturbing.The only real way i feel as this could be resolved is for the dealership to either refund me my down payment& refund the bank like the bank said OR pay the $1500 owed to the bank and replace the crappy car that was sold to me.
I DO NOT feel safe in the car & i state that almost everytime that i am there. If i could go back to May 25th,2024 I wouldve never gone to this dealership to get my first car. This has literally caused me so much more stress & anxiety, & its been physically & emotionally draining.

We have covered multiple repairs at no cost to you, The vehicle was sold as-is to you which you acknowledged when the paperwork was signed. We did try to help you get into a different vehicle but had no success getting an approval from a bank. We did also address your concern with your discomfort with one of our employees and made sure that employee understood that is not acceptable. We purchased a Chevrolet Silverado 1500 on 07/13/24 and as yet we have not been able to drive the vehicle off the lot, as after we purchased the vehicle there has been various issues and has been in with the service department ever since. Date of Transaction - 07/13/24 Money Paid - $36000 (finance) The business commited to provide us with a fully functioning vehicle The Vehicle once bought was not received for two months as there was an issue, after receiving the vehicle the check light came on after 5 weeks, it has been to another dealer as Mark ********************** said they didn't have the staff or parts to fix the vehicle and it could be with them for months. The new dealer has advised us of several issues that should have been resolved before it was even up for sale The vehicle was not fit for sale and should not of been on the lot until it was fully functional. With us having bought the vehicle four months ago we have only had it to drive for 4 weeks. I contacted the BBB previously to complaint and once **** Whalbergh Chevrolet recieved the complaint they contacted me and promised me they would sort it and i would have it within in another week and asked me to retract my complaint which i did, another four weeks went passed before it got it and now i am back to square one with not having the vehicle i am paying for.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: we had the vehicle for 4 weeks before we took it back because the check light came on, they cleared said it was OK to drive, a week later it came on again, we took it back to the service department and they said they couldn't help as don't have the staff or a courtesy vehicle for us to use. We have now been without a vehicle for two weeks as it has been at another chevrolet dealer who has found multiple issues.We are far from being happy and would like them to take back the vehicle and refund our down payment and pay off our finance.
The whole situation has been extremely stressful and costly to us, as said before the vehicle should never of been of the forecourt for sale until it was fully inspected. This dealership is very unprofessional.
No one should spend that amount of money on a vehicle to not be able to drive and be confident that it will not break down.

It is ridiculous that I must keep writing to complain about the same issue and that it is accepted the companys word is just good enough.
This vehicle is not road worthy, did you see the attachments I sent you regarding all the issues that the vehicle was just in for? The big list of stuff that was found below and now attached again.
This vehicle is now booked in again as the damage done by all the issues below it now needs more work done, we have had to cancel out plans for the holidays as we cannot drive to far in case the vehicle breaks down and this cannot be fixed until 12/30.
I am so upset the fact that Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet of Worthington think that this is ok and keep saying I am back in my own vehicle, this is not OK.
The stress that this is causing and the fact we cannot go see family during the holidays is beyond excuses.
I want Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet of Worthington to take back the vehicle and give me my money back.
If the BBB cannot help me with my complaint please advise who I should escalate this too, as this is absolutely ridiculous service from Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet of Worthington and not acceptable

We have been in contact with this customer. She has brought her vehicle to another dealership to be repaired. She brought it there and they stated they fixed the issue but she has had to bring it back to that dealership again for the same problem. I purchased a car from Wahlberg's used car lot on 161 back in February 2023. The SUV is a Nissan Pathfinder 2017. The car ran good for the 1st week, then noises started, the muffler fell off and the front end must have had issues as it became detached. I have called and called and drove it to the dealership multiple times to look at it. Each time I was blown off and told they couldn’t find anything wrong. This is over a 6-month span. The car has continually gotten worse. I have taken it to a new mechanic and all 3 timing chains need replaced. My repair bill is over $7,000.00. I have only put 11K miles on this vehicle. This should not have been an issue. Wahlberg's should have repaired it when I brought it in. They have poor customer service and an even worse service team. Now I have a car with a loan for 5 more years and it’s not going to make it. Wahlberg's will not take responsibility for selling me a busted car. I am asking for the over 7K dollar repair bill be compensated. If they would have fixed this upon selling the car, this would not have been an issue today. I have 2 kids in an unsafe car, they sold me an elite deal package that when I brought it in to have the tire repaired, they refused. I also want the $1,500.00 package removed and refunded to me. All I asked for was a good running car and I received a disaster. I am frustrated that Wahlberg's refuses to take care of this matter responsibly. I spoke to Wahlburg's again today, the manager was not in so he had to leave a message. The lies and refusal to take responsibility is egregious.Business Response

The service Director has spoke to the customer and his concern with the muffler was fixed in March of 2023. The customer did not know that the service contract he purchased from us was still active, he thanked us for the information and will have it repaired at the service shop where the vehicle is located now.

I am rejecting this response because: it’s not the muffler, it’s the timing chain. I called the warranty co and they had no idea what was talking about. Wahlburgs needs to reimburse the mechanic. I’ve already paid over 7k to fix it. It is still not done yet. The call was not a resolution but another blow off.
