We bought $8500 ***** ***** HHC-900 off their website in January 2025 from Restaurant Equippers Warehouse Stores . The unit shown list on website had all the standard features. Count down timer features 13 independent programmable timers. the features allow separate hold temptresses and circulation. The specs off the website or the Manufacture Spec sheet show everything as standard features. No basic unit is offered on their website or in manufacture Spec sheet.The unit delivered all the standard features removed and it some basic unit. The standard features allow separate hold temperatures and circulation. The box and label on unit says HHC-900 but the Count down timer features 13 independent programmable timers ect. Are removed. The unit is not what was presented by or shown on website or manufacture spec. After pressing Restaurant Equippers, *** they agreed that the unit was missing features and they wanted to credit $1200 for missing features. The features are why we where purchasing the unit. They are refusing to send us the unit we purchased. They say the unit is close enough to what was shown and after several calls only thing they will offer refund us the $1200 which is the cost of the normal features. This obvious a bait and switch so the company can strip out features and pocket $1200.Business Response

We purchased tables, chairs, faucet with sprayer the beginning of march 2024. Received the items March 18, 2024. Paid roughly $7000.00 for these items. Upon inspection of those items, there were chairs that were torn or ripped. Screws falling out of chairs as we were putting them in the restaurant! And a new table top was gouged really bad. And we were missing a base to one of our tables. We made Restaurant Equippers aware of this. Also sent the wrong type of faucet. when we told they said to send them pictures of said damaged items and they would get them replaced. it was a total of 10 chairs, a table top, table base, and a faucet body with sprayer. After a day of reviewing this they then replied and told us they couldn't do anything about it that we should have checked the items when we received them. These items are all boxed up and plastic wrapped. Then put on pallets and wrapped again in plastic wrap. Almost near impossible to see any apparent damages.Business Response

In April of this year I purchased nearly $9000 of restaurant equipment from this business. Initially, they tried to deliver a broken fryer and I had to argue with them to get that replaced. Then, I had to wait for construction and when I plugged in my sandwich prep tables, one of them was not keeping cool at all so I went in and they refused to look at it or do anything because they said I should’ve checked earlier. They obviously knew it hadn’t been moved or turned on since permits were still waiting as they knew when they sold me the equipment, so after arguing with them, they finally sent someone out. When my health inspector came out, it looked like the refrigerator they sold me wasn’t holding temperature correct. Today I had someone come out to repair it only to find out that the problem was that it was sold to me with a piece on the upper right door missing. Now I’ve had to pay $300 to actually make the product they sold me function. so out of six items I purchased three of them knowingly came to me broken. Their customer service is very very poor and I worry to try to deal with them again since the last two times were such a difficultyBusiness Response

I have spoken with our customer the author of the comments, and we are taking car of the issue. I believe we have come to a resolution.
We will be out to tale a look at the unit in question next week and make sure everything is working as it should.
The three units in question were highly discounted used units with a 90 pre-owned warranty, While they were not used they had incured freight damage and thus the reason for the markdow.
Unfortunately the customer had not been able to use the units durring the warranty period as they were waiting on inspection and the problem was not brought to our attention during the waranty period.
That said if there is an problem with a used piece of equipment during the warranty period, we always fine a solution; repair, replace, refund, whatver it takes to make the custoemr whole, and that is what we are doing in this case.

Bought a **** freezer about 10 months ago from restaurant equippers. It stopped cooling about 3 weeks ago and the control buttons are not functioning and have called them many times for service as it is under warranty but they have still not sent anyone to fix or replace this defective appliance.Business Response

I recieved an email response from Mr. ****** stating that the the unit was repaired some time during the week of June 26th.
The manufacture, who handels the warranty, worked diligetntly contacting many service companies to get tthe service done more quickly, but was unsuccesful in to find more timely service.
While the length of time for repair is far from Ideal, the service side of the restaurant equipment buisness is really suffering from a labor shortage, and as a result, service times have suffered.
At this point I will consider this complait resolved.

Purchase fryers from Restaurant Equippers, in Aug of 2022. I have a 1 year warranty and in April of 2023, both fryers stop working. ****** ******* stated that I was going to receive a replacement fryers in a few days. After, 3 weeks I did not receive a replacement, I called and ****** answered the phone. I asked to speak to a manager and he refused. As of date, I have no fryers and no money and have yet to speak to a manager. Please help with getting new working fryers or my funds refunded. ThanksBusiness Response

I purchased an ice maker from this business in March and before our business opened, the ice maker lid had broken. We opened for business on May 6 and have been waiting for a technician to fix the ice maker. I, the owner, spoke to someone on May 18 stating they would send someone the following week but they never called me again to schedule the appointment. Our operations manager called to follow up on Thursday, May 25 and was advised that they could not reach anyone on the phone. They never called me, the owner, who purchased the equipment. My contact information is on file with them, as I have purchased over $4k in equipment. I need this lid fixed or the ice maker replaced. We cannot operate like this.Business Response

I have spoken with ownership of the **** **** *** ***** **** and let them know that we shipped the replacement lid on May 18th to a service company in the area to perform the repair. The sevice company stated they are trying to get out to do the service this week. 5/30/2023

We are sorry there has been a lack of comunication on the part of Restaurant Equippers regading this freight damage, but we are working on geting this completed as quickly as possible

We have purchased items from this business and spent well over 1200 dollars. Come to find out the do not sell any parts for there sentinel slicer, or patriot countertop oven. They said you have to purchase new! Thats sad. Small business trying to make it. This is what we getBusiness Response

I have spoken with the customer and author of the complaint, and have come to a mutualy satifactoy agreement. Both Items mentioned and are no longer under warranty, but I understand and comend the customer that has the desire and skills to repair the items himself. It is common today that many low cost items do not have replacement parts available due to the fact that the cost of replair is ofetn greater that the replacement, similar many of todays electronic and mechanical prodcuts.Initial Complaint

Description: Taste of the Best Catering purchased on line a Patriot double stack convection oven on June 28, 2022 for $5567.43. Shortly after install the oven kept blowing fuses. Constituent reached out to manufacturer. Manufacturer said the oven was installed incorrectly. Constituent hired another electrician to review/replace/reinstall oven and evaluate electrical panel. The instructions were ambiguous with multiple installation options according to the electrician. The oven still had issues and Patriot said that they were not longer going to honor the warranty.Business Response

I have spoken with the customer and we have come to a mutual agreement to replace the unit with a oven that is compatible with the voltage he has in his building. The original unit purchased was not compatible with his voltage and was the reason for the failure of the unit. It will take about 6 weeks to accomplish this resolution as the replacement oven has to be ordered in, and there is a 6 week lead time to obtain the oven.Customer Answer
