      Entered by H363137**3238313831H staff LO Consumer states the business sold him a vehicle that stopped working and they will not honor the ***airs. They told him the vehicle needed some ***airs. The power steering went out first. He tried to get the vehicle to them but Ashtabula was too far. He contacted them and they said they could help him with a tow but it was still expensive. They told him he could take the vehicle to their corporate office on Brookpark. He got his vehicle over to them about 3 months ago. They told him it is in service but it is still not being fixed. They are still having him make payments but they said they are not going to ***air the vehicle. They told him they were trying to find him another vehicle with deferred payments but it&#**;s been close to 4 months. He was told by a *** named ****** that they are trying to find him a vehicle valued between $2500-$3000 but he owes $6000 on the car that is in their possession.

      After speaking with our guest in multiple occasions we agreed to settle his $6000 loan balance with a settlement offer of much less. This settlement was agreed to by ******* and we are in the process of executing now.

      first, they sold me a vehicle, that needed repairs, without telling me it needed repairs. second, the warranty it is supposed to be upheld, is not being upheld. transmission is out on my van, and it's just sitting in the lot and has not moved. nor has there been any attempt in contacting me. when i try to contact them, they do not call back. they always say they are with a customer. When i showed up with my legal advisor, they asked him to leave. which he was forced to stand outside in the cold. when all he said do not talk about things you do not know about or understand. this is after the salesperson said they would fix the issues a week prior. currently it is going on 3 weeks. with no contact initiated by them. while i sit without a vehicle. and paying to rent a vehicle. i just wish for them to follow their own contracts and guidelines. and to be cordial when dealing with the situation. after all, i only was ready to agree with the terms because of their warranty.

      In the case of ***************************, Complaint Number: ********, we have investigated this matter with the full cooperation of the franchise-owned Byrider.  Upon receipt of this complaint the franchise owned Byrider immediately reached out to ****************. She stated that she is satisfied with the service she has received from Byrider, she did not file a complaint with the agency and her husband, who is not a customer of the dealership, must have done so. She does not agree with the statements made and will speak to her husband.  Based on this information, we request that this complaint be closed.
