I am rejecting this response because:

This matter was not resolved I was told the employees we're scared of me when I never went in an caused any problems cause of something he must have said now that's defamation of character my merchandise was lost due to the incompetent of his workers and himself p he was rude and disrespectful blaming me that this mistake on his part in his employees part had happened and any business owner would be more than willing to take care of it honestly willingly and apologize for this mishap not all for me to sum of $20 for all my merchandise refuse to let me back in the store insult me and refuses to take responsibility for this with that said I will not take anything less than what I'm asking

The manager **** kicked me out of the store because I sold my items at a platos in ****** 2 days ago. I called them to ask did I do Something wrong? The employees said **** is ignorant for even doing that! They said he looked up my account to see when was the last time I sold anything but it wasnt his job to do that. Either buy it or not!!. I was under the impression that the store has different inventory & I didn't know it was a crime!!! I’m very hurt I was embarrassed in front of the entire store!! Not only did he get my attention as soon as I walked in the door but he yelled my business in front of everyone and said YOU WERE JUST IN ****** WE DONT NEED YOUR STUFF!! HAVE A NICE DAY!! I GRABBED MY BASKET AND HE TOLD ME HE WILL WALKED MY OTHER BASKET OUT THE STORE. I REFUSED AND HE STILL TOUCHED MY THINGS AND FOLLOWED ME TO MY CAR!! I FEEL EXTREMELY VIOLATED AND WONT BE BACK EVER AGAIN!!!

My name is *********************** and I am the owner of the Plato's Closet in *************** I am writing in response to a complaint you received from *************** I would like to respond to the accusations she made regarding her visit to my store and her selling products to my store.

Firstly, I am the owner not the manager of the store so all decisions start and end with me. It wasn't a manager who made the decision that by the end of the encounter with Ms. ***** I asked her to not return.

Here is our business model. We buy and sell current styles of teen and young adult clothing and accessories. We need our customers to bring items to us for our business to thrive. The last thing I ever want to do is upset a customer and have to ask them to no longer bring items to my store. Without people bringing in goods to us we can not stay in business. Nor can I grow my business.

As to the allegations that the employees said I was wrong in looking up her account, my employees were the ones that made me aware of how often Ms.***** had been in the store and her pattern of bringing stuff to us. At that point I did go look up all her information in our computer system and see her pattern of selling to us. She would bring the same stuff in 2 or 3 times in a few days and get mad when we weren't purchasing anything from her the second and third times. This was the pattern she always used when bringing stuff in.  I have no problem if a customer comes in every day with different stuff. That is great for my business even if we can only buy a few items each time. I have numerous customers that come in frequently who go to garage sales or flea markets that bring things in to ** to sell. We are not obligated to buy those items though. The customer takes the chance with their own money on what we will purchase. We buy things based on the style, condition plus how many of certain things we already have in inventory. There are numerous  types of sub categories of clothing like denim, summer dresses, women's sweaters to name a few where I can buy 5 items for every one we sell. Because of this inverse supply and demand curve I need to be selective and only buy the best ones and not get overloaded on my inventory. Ms ***** just assumes that we will buy all her stuff and gets angry when we don't.  Ms ***** would frequently be difficult to handle when cashing out her buys. She would give the employees difficulty because we were only purchasing a few items when she would bring in multiple large baskets and totes.

I didn't throw her out of the store immediately, I just asked her to quit bringing the same items back a few days in a row. She told me she hadn't been in my store or the other stores in the area and got a little upset about the accusation. She then started to give me a hard time making everyone around the counter area both the customers and my employees uncomfortable. So I asked her to no longer come into the store. I helped her carry her baskets and totes out to her care to be kind. We wish to have nothing further to do with Ms ****** I find it a bit strange how on the one hand she says she will never be back but on the other hand asks for resolution  in the form of a store credit. I wish for her to not return to my store. I don't like doing this but someone with a serious animosity coming in is not good for business.

I wish Ms ***** well. I did not tell the other Plato's Closets in the area that we barred her from selling so she is still welcome to go in to them at this time. I wish her and her family well in the future. I just wish to not have to have any further interactions with her on a business basis.

Thank you for your time and your consideration in this matter.

    Sincerely,
    *********************
