One of the worst appraisers, Rob Nagle is white and online reviews shows he may demolish property value in colored neighborhoods and colored homes, due to racial bias and racial red-lining, this issue dominates the headlines, and it seems that we fell into that trap too; My father in law was selling his home, he is disabled, and he invested two years in improvements, and that home would be his only income, we had a purchase contract and the lender ordered an appraisal from Mr. Nagle, and we had an appraisal appointment for 7-11-2022. But after we saw several reviews online about Mr Nagle, how he obliterated deals due to racial bias, which is scary, and there is a new task force from the White House by the name PAVE to address that issue, so we decided to record his visit on iPhone, and hold the iPhone on a selfie stick while he was taking pictures, he was ok with it through his visit, but after he left he text us that our video made him concerned so he canceled the appraisal altogether, (Seems like the video we took scared him to be exposed to what he is doing) and now he put our deal in jeopardy. Our home is owner occupied and he took pictures of our personal belongings which he is not allowed to. And at the same time he canceled the appraisal because we took our own pictures in our own home. Not only he canceled the appraisal but he also stole the appraisal fee and refused to give it back to the lender. This is unconscionable and we will hold him accountable for any damages.

I was the appraiser who walked through the home, and I was not aware that the homeowner was recording me on his phone which (was very unusual) until I was already starting my walk through. It was uncomfortable for a stranger to follow me with a recording device, even as I was climbing a ladder etc., which again made me feel very uncomfortable, which made me withdraw from the assignment. I never got paid NOR did I bill for the appointment. Furthermore, The seller of the home would not have paid any appraisal fee since it is the Buyer and the Buyers Bank which call for the appraisal services. I did what our State Appraiser Coalition and our industry standards recommend which is to be polite and professionally withdraw from such strange situations. The bank/lender could just re-assign it to another appraiser. All other complaints are just ridiculous and untrue. I do work in every part of town and treat every individual with respect and dignity.

Mr. Nagle Robert, The camera on a selfie stick was in your face since the second you opened the front door, and you acknowledged verbally the camera recording during your visit more than once, and you were ok with it, you chit chat friendly with the home owner, and you shook his hand on your way out... and now you lie to BBB and say the recording was "without your knowledge"??? Your lie shows that you have no integrity, and if you lie about this, then you lie about other issues, such as, de-valuing houses in colored homes and colored community, due to racial bias and racial red-lining... Clearly we made a good decision to video record your visit. ******************* If you do not retract your lie about the recording, we will publish the video of your visit, for everyone to judge if you are a liar or not. We will have to do so to protect ourselves from your lies. In addition, if you do not retract your lie, we will submit a formal complaint to the state of Ohio to sanction your license... ******************* You really do not pay attention to what you saying... you said "It was uncomfortable for a stranger to follow me with a recording device, even as I was climbing a ladder etc.," Are kidding yourself ??? you call the home owner a "stranger" in his own home???? Is that joke or a twilight zone??? There was one stranger in that house, and it was YOU. You Mr. Robert Nagle, you were the stranger inside that home, taking pictures of our personal belonging inside our own home... You are so arrogant, disrespectful, and full of yourself, to a point that you really forgot that you were the stranger, not the home owner... ******************* If you felt uncomfortable with the video recording, why didn't you leave the house right away, immediately upon entrance, when the camera was right in your face??? why did you complete your visit, shook the home owner's hand and left, and then canceled the appraisal after you left??? The answer is very simple, the video recording was not a problem, the problem was that you are racially biased, and you came to obliterate our deal due to racial bias, like to you did to other before us, and the video was about to expose what you do, so you canceled the appraisal... ******************* Regarding the payment, we received a text message from the buyer agent, that the home owner will have to pay for the second appraisal, since you stole the appraisal fee... ******************* You are very sleek, and you trying to skirt the main issue or racial bias, and racial redlining in appraisal by saying """All other complaints are just ridiculous and untrue. I do work in every part of town and treat every individual with respect and dignity.""" End Quote.. Why other complaints said you are racially biased? is it because you are so fair, and they were so happy with your service??? Absolutely not... Happy people do not complaint... Happy people say "Thank you". ******************* You are trying to answer the claim of racial bias by saying "I do work in every part of town and treat every individual with respect and dignity" which is code words for saying "i appraise houses also in colored communities"... Of course you do... why not collect $500 in appraisal fee, and go there for 5 minutes to take couple pictures, and de-value those colored homes by 30% or more... That's called heaven... the only person the comes out wining is only you... not the buyer, and not the seller, and not the realtors, and not the title company, and not the colored community as a whole... you took your $500 for couples minutes work, and screwed everyone else... That's not a sign that you are not racially biased... The main questions should be... Do you live in colored community or white community? Did you send you kids to colored school and white school? Did you marry a white person or a colored person? Most of your friends are colored or white? Do you eat in colored restaurants or white restaurants? Do you listen to colored music or white music? Do you go to colored church or white church? You told the home owner during your visit, on that video recording, that you live in Oakwood, and Oakwood is 93% white population... Why don't you live in our zip code 45417 with 85% colored population... Because you already made up your mind that it won't be such a good idea for you to live in our colored community... That's called "racially biased"... So why you think you are qualified to appraise houses in our colored community? why you think that subconsciously you are not looking down on our colored homes, and you are incapable to value and appreciate a nice home in colored community? ******************* Please educate yourself about the issue of racial bias and racial red-lining... You are full of yourself, and you a clear danger to the financial well being of the colored community. ******************* The following are forty six web links about the issue of racial bias in appraisals and racial redlining in appraisals.
