  I am writing this to save others the trouble and the financial regret that comes with attending this school. It is an absolute embarrassment saying that I got my esthetics license from this establishment and I wish I had spent my hard earned money elsewhere. For one, the school is CONSTANTLY losing employees/educators. The educators they hire (if they decide to show up for their shifts) scream at students, cuss, share personal information, gossip, etc. They have students bring in clients for services as part of their education and these people come into a disgusting environment with spa beds that literally fall apart when you sit on them. Or the school will just make the students cancel on their clients because of poor planning on their part. There is no air conditioning or heat in half of the building and the back door is broken and will not close all the way which has resulted in actual safety threats when homeless men have entered the building unannounced, wondering the hallways. There are roaches and mice throughout the building, the bathrooms and spa rooms are filthy. To top this all off and cut things short; there is almost NO education at this school. You do not get training, you sit in your plastic seats at your plastic folding table covered in dirt and stains by yourself with nothing to do for 90% of your classes because you have to get your hours and the teachers don’t show up and don’t want to teach. They ALL hate their jobs and complain about them constantly. If you don’t show up every single day, this school will find a way to make you pay them THOUSANDS out of pocket after already paying your tuition to get your license. They wait until last minute, right before you graduate to tell you you owe them MORE MONEY. It makes me sick to see how horrible this “school” is ran. Lots of code violations. I would never let any of my friends or family go here

  I went her for 10 months, I learned bare minimum. My education was overpriced and the kit I received was unusable, I had to buy my own brushes and bring my personal makeup to use. The school is only worried about money and not your education. My last 350 hours I learned absolutely nothing and had to come 10 hours to sit and do nothing. Occasionally I’d have a service but 9/10 times it was a 60 min massage that was overpriced and it wasn’t even a real massage I was just rubbing cold oil on someone with 0 pressure. I came here to learn about waxing and facials but most times the only service I got booked to preform on the spa floor was a massage. Don’t waste your time go to aveda and learn more for your money and get a way better kit. Aveda also offers the course for 200 less hours so you won’t be wasting your time doing absolutely nothing! The staff was very unprofessional, whenever a client would have a complaint the staff would make the client feel horrible, but they would teach us that we need to fix anything the client doesn’t like, but they didn’t follow what they taught us. Very dissatisfied and I feel like I just wasted 10 months that I won’t be able to get back.
