      Terrific job removing 2 trees and cutting back 6 others. Fair price, good workers, property left very clean, very pleased with this company.

      The owner and his business partner arrived to my house. They looked at my tree and told me it would be $2800.00 to take the "60 ft Hard Maple down. He proceeded to tell me the tree had been struck by lightning. The price was comparable to what I had already been told He was pleasant at first and then started getting pushy! Trying to convince me he could get the tree down the next day and about financing options. I told him repeatedly I had to speak with my husband. This guy calls me yesterday and was just as pushy. I tried to tell him that an Arborist/Tree Service company came out, looked at my tree and quoted me $3800.00 if I really wanted the tree taken down. Mind you this other company has been in business for 20 years and advised strongly that tree did not need to come down, the tree had not been struck by lightening and that the tree simply had Sooty Mold on it and it is treatable and curable. CDC said the tree was full of termintes and that what was causing the holes. Well turns out my pesticide yard guy cam out looked at the tree and it does not have termites, the holes are from woodpeckers eating the little bugs that gather in the Sooty Mold. Here is where I find it confusing about CDC Contracting. Another company quoted $1000.00 more that CDC Contracting. She was not out to push me into getting the tree cut down, but took the time to explain what was actually wrong with the tree, it did not need to be cut down and the tree was savable. CDC Contracting was pushy and did not know what they were talking about. As I was trying to tell this fool that I did not want his services, he proceeds to tell me I don't know what I'm talking about and then hangs the phone up in my ear . They were only out for my money and trying to push me into cutting down a tree that did not need to be cut down. Steer Clear of this company. They may have some good reviews, but take the time to read the not so good reviews. I would not recommend this company!

      James connected quickly to our needs and showed good understanding and professionalism as a salesman. He showed up in less than a week for our 10 trees that needed trimming, along with his five-man crew to review specifics of each tree. Then, Esteban, their supervisor showed flexibility to my wife and I as we evaluated each tree as they worked their magic. This crew obviously had worked for years together and knew how to get work done efficiently. The price was fair, but the clincher was being able to do 0% financing. They made the decision easy, even though we had cheaper bids. The crew cleaned up beautifully and we are very happy with the finished product.

      I was really impressed by how quickly CDC and team responded to our request for quote and took care of our project. Our job was a bit unique and challenging but they handled it quickly and throughly. I would definitely consider them for future tree trimming/ removal projects. Joe in Kettering.
