Hired Straight Line Pro Remodeling on November 19, 2022 for deck construction to be completed within 5 business days (November 28, 2002 - December 3, 2022) weather dependent per the signed contract. Paid the owner of the company, **** ******, $2900 for materials. **** continuously made excuses as to why he could not show up to complete the project. He also had no explanation as to where our materials were. The last interaction we had with **** was on December 16, 2022 when he show up to begin framing the project. He proceeded to ask for additional money. We explained per the contract, he would receive the remaining money once the project was completed. We have reached multiple times over the past few days, but have reply. We understand that **** did purchase a small amount of material. We are asking that $2900 be returned to us minus any material **** can prove he purchased for our project.
