      I paid $2000 to have my attic fully insulated and air sealed . The techs acknowledged the need to air seal prior to spraying insulation but neglected to do so. I still have drafts of cold air coming through all of my electrical outlets, ceiling fixtures, and any other point where air exchanges between the attic and living area below. My power usage remains unchanged and I am unable to find any of the areas the techs failed to seal due to the 16 inch layer of loose fill that covers my attic floors. A complete waste of money and the owner never followed through with coming out to address the issue after I brought it up to him. Note the temperature readings in the attached images and the receipt which explicitly states air sealing was performed. There is 0 evidence of air sealing in the attic. The only way to properly address this issue is to remove the blown-in insulation, perform air sealing, and then reinstall the insulation.
