It is a scam. They add affiliated links above the real government websites thinking you are filling with the government. They say they offer refunds within 24 hours but then don't do it. They stole my money.New Business Filing, LLC

Hello, We are a legitimate business assistance company, that offers certain filings as part of our suite of services. We are not sure what you mean by affiliated links, but our guess is that you mean ads that come up in various places. We obviously do not purport to be affiliated with any government office or agency. We do offer refunds, however, see no record of you contacting us in any way requesting a refund or cancellation of your order, only a disputed charge for the order you clearly placed with our service. upon notification of the dispute, we refunded your order. Accepting payment for services is not stealing, nor a scam. You entered into a voluntary transaction, never communicated with us, and apparently are upset that we didnt know you wanted to cancel despite not contacting us. Given the opportunity, we are always willing to work with our customers, and in this case, were never given that chance.Review fromBrandy G

Hello. Nothing we do is a scam. After reviewing your account, it looks as if you placed an order for an annual report that is not yet eligible to file this year. Although we are concerned to hear that you were unhappy with our service, it seems more that you were unhappy paying for the service. We formed your company in Feb of 2024, provided various other services at your request, filed an annual report earlier this year, and then when we billed you (after multiple notices that the card you put on file was about to be charged by both text and email), you called and berated our customer support representative who was only trying to help. We refunded your fees, despite having performed the services for you, and would like anyone who reads this to know that we do not, and have not ever scammed anyone. We provide services at our customers direction, and only at their direction and request. We are transparent about our pricing, our renewal dates, billing and the services we provide. I am yet another victim of New Business Filing's shady business practices. I had received an email last year stating I needed to file my BOI report by a certain date. I had not & when I had submitted what I thought was the report, I was charged $150 for the "report" & a $100 "late fee". As the year progressed, I remember they had sent me another BOI report notice. I thought it was odd, but I didn't pay much attention to it. Further into the year, I noticed someone in a bookkeeping forum who was inquiring about filing their BOI report & how much it costs. That is when I learned that it is actually free. I then did my due diligence & contacted New Business Filing. They responded via email stating that I did not file my BOI report, but rather an Annual Report. I continued my research before responding & sent an email to DFI. They informed me that the cost to file an Annual Report is $25 online, $40 via paper, & there are no late fees unless multiple years have passed without a submission. I just sent an email back to the representative of New Business Filing for a refund of $225. I already know what their answer is going to be, but I will ask anyway. As others have stated, this business gives you an impression that it is a government entity. I will be contacting my state's Consumer Protection agency & filing a complaint.New Business Filing, LLC

Total Scam. They fooled my bookkeeper of 14 years with their fake forms. They mail out official looking forms pretending to be from the State of California. They charge you 200 instead of $25.00 regular state fee.New Business Filing, LLC

We are sorry you feel this way. Much of this information is simply false. All of our forms, are in fact actual forms; they are just our forms. However, we do not mail out any forms of any kind. We do not fool anyone nor pretend to be anyone or any other agency, state federal or otherwise. We are very transparent about who we are, and what we do. I was trying to made my payment to Virginia State Corporation for Jennings Stained Glass Inc and this company got my money $175. Hello, Looking at this account, it looks like you placed an order with our company on Nov 3 both for a renewal of your business, as well as a subscription to do so automatically in subsequent years, received confirmation that the order was complete on November 4, and you requested a refund late on November 5. After speaking with you, we did refund half of your fees, and we did renew your business with the state exactly as you requested. We do not have any links on any government websites, unless those websites are selling ad space, and our ad showed up in a general purchase of display ads. to our knowledge, no government sites do this. No money was stolen. you paid for a service, received the service requested, then wanted your money back including the fees we paid to the state on your behalf and at your request. Unfortunately, we are not able to retrieve that money from the state, and therefor cannot refund it to you. BEWARE...Very mis-leading, or downright deceitful. I'm "usually" pretty good at recognizing a scam but they got me with their notice on filing a Business Annual Report form for $225. Stupid me but I thought I was actually dealing with a legit NJ State site. Then, they immediately try to follow-up with a time-sensitive filing for your BOI report...which is free to file on the actual NJ portal. Shame on me!New Business Filing, LLC

We apologize for you feeling misled. We are a legitimate filing service and do charge a fee for our services. We in no way intimate that we are affiliated with any state, and say so expressly on every page of our site, as well as the terms of service that are required to be agreed to in order to submit an order with us. We do also follow up with all of our customers about the required BOI reporting, and offer our services to assist. that cannot be done through New Jersey site, it is a federal filing of which most business owners are not even aware. It looks as if we completed your order exactly as you requested, that your business is in good standing for the report we filed and paid for, and have received no contact from you regarding our service. We are certainly confused as to your position here. We filed this business back in December, sent confirmation that it was completed, just as you requested, and have not had any contact since. These guys are super deceitful. Don't fall for it. This happened to me as well. I went to file an annual LLC report online in WA and their site pops up before the official WA site. I stupidly clicked, filled out the firm data and was charged $250 to include a BOI application. I still had to file my WA annual report. that report was $70.00. I hope this will help someone else. Bottom line, don't be in a rush to get these reports done....New Business Filing, LLC
