      The Stanley Steemer Company (their Ft. *****, ** office) recently took one of my area rugs to their shop for cleaning. I was promised the rug back "no later than" 7/20/24. After five days later I still had not heard from them. So I called their Ft. Worth number and talked to a representative named *****. He said he was in a central call center rather than actually in the Ft. Worth location.. In my discussion with ***** about the delivery of my overdue rug I found him to be completely unhelpful and ineffectual. In fact, I don't think I've ever talked with anyone as unhelpful as he was. He did inform me the rug was in their "return bin" but he made no effort to schedule the return at any time I could be here to accept it. He offered no explanation why the rug was overdue, or why they had not gotten in touch with me to arrange it's return. He refused to let me talk to a supervisor, or the manager of that office. And the best he offered me was to return the rug in four more days. (That will be 9 days after the rug's promised return.) My wife and I have used the Stanley Steamer company several times in the past; we will never use it again, nor will we ever recommend it to any of our family or friends. We will be filing a report/complaint with the Better Business Bureau and several social media sites. And we will certainly share this disgusting experience with other people. It is my hope that Stanley Steemer will in the future train the employees who represent them to be more helpful to folks who keep them in business.

      Booked an appointment online. Didnt receive a confirmation or anything and when I call and finally reach someone, they dont have an appointment. ***** stated they dont control the website. Its your website. As I told her: have professionalism and accountability. You have neither nor competence! I will never recommend or use your services for personal or professional reasons. Own up to your mistakes. Youre a business. Act like one.

      Your team came out to clean two rooms of carpet, one hall, one love seat, one sofa, one chair, and one ottoman in San Antonio, Texas on July 5. Invoice #************ I paid $571.56 for this. The area stayed wet/damp until the morning of July 7, and now I notice that the dining room table, the desk and the sideboard were never moved and were undoubtedly not cleaned under since there are no plastic sheets under those legs. The hall and the doorway to the kitchen still have traffic patterns despite supposedly being cleaned. And a bush outside the front door has been damaged by the equipment. I am very angry about this and feel used. The crew was Ismael M******* who said he was a supervisor and Samuel M******

      On 05/16/2024 Stanley Steemer came out to clean my air ducts and dryer vent. After they left my AC came on and there was a very loud noise coming from the blower motor. I called Stanley Steemer and they sent out a technician who didn’t know anything about HVAC so he told me to call the HVAC company they use. They couldn’t get here for two weeks so I called my HVAC guy. The blower wheel needed replaced. I have called Stanley Steemer multiple times and they tell me it’s not their fault. It worked when they got here and it didn’t work when they left. How can they say it’s not their fault! I also called to talk to the president of the company and he never returned my call. They refuse to reimburse me for the cost to repair the blower motor!!

      Clean a rug, this is a complete scam. First when I called they said to my 85 year old mother they will have to wash it by hand and she would get it back by Friday 6/21. After numerous calls I told them not to do anything because they have not finished and now they are saying Thursday so not only did they said 150 originally then ripped my 85 year old mother for 850 it has been a nightmare. I finally called the 800 number waited another 15 min and finally told not to do anything and the gave me the address 2085 congress ave I sent a truck to pick up the rug and they said it was in boynton in some warehouse. I don’t see with the reviews Stanley Steemer has that google is associated with them. My fault and google to maintain 5 stars when the service is horrendous. Run away ! Do not do business with Stanley Steemer.

      I hired this company in or about October 2023 and I'm still dealing with the damage they did to my home, personal property and substandard ductwork cleaning they performed on my home. They scratched my brand-new fake wood flooring, completely destroyed my almost new iPad and got dry wall dust all over Bose 1500.00 stereo unit. This company lacked respect for me, my home and my personal belongings therefore it is my opinion that this company should not be hired for any services under any circumstances. They are refusing to reimburse me for the substandard duct cleaning but have offered to redo the cleaning. Based on my previous experience with them, I do not trust them to return to my home without further damaging my things. Additionally, I was told a camera inspection of my ductwork would be conducted when I scheduled the appointment during the estimate. The estimator said he didn't have the camera, but the cleaning crew would be able to perform the camera inspection. The cleaning crew came and said they don't use cameras or have them. Plus, they will not reimburse me for a new iPad that shattered. They said they don't reimburse people full price for items they damage. I DO NOT RECOMMOND THIS COMPANY. I saw their Facebook reviews. Everyone knows company's delete the negative reviews, only leaving the positive ones. This review is my personal opinion. I wish I would have checked the Yelp reviews they cannot delete which are not favorable.

      These guys are scammers and total rip off. Dont waste your hard earned money. They "steamed" my AC ducts..they are still dirty.. They "Vancumed" my dry duct without my permission and charged me for it. When you call..No one is home and no ever follows up at their central location. Dont hire these guys! There is a good reason they have a very LOW BBB rating..I wished I checked yelp before hiring them.

      NO STARS! Wish I would have read all these reviews BEFORE I hired them!!!! My carpets and furniture were NOT CLEANED unless you consider cleaning w only lukewarm water is clean! The only thing that was gone was a small stain which was caused by something my granddaughter was drinking. Not that big of a big deal to clean. It was juice. It took a day and half to dry! In my opinion, They must hire people standing on corners in the street to do these jobs! Someone told me these techs expect to be tipped!! I gave them one… don’t ever come back! In my opinion, the people they hire must’ve ended up with SS because no one else wanted them. Bc of their service I think there’s a high turnover of employees. I never bothered to call back after finally reading reviews just bc I didn’t want to waste anymore of my time and money.

      This company is a scammer. The Sales person who came out to offer an estimate outlined a list of services that the team would complete, one of which included covering the ducts when flogging to prevent mold spores from being released into the home. We chose them, even though they were a bit pricier, because of the services they offered. When the crew showed up to clean out a/c ducts, they reeked of marijuana. They didn’t do half of what was promised(including covering the vents), and they were not able to think straight because our questions regarding the process were not answered. they looked very confused about the process. They did a terrible job “cleaning” the a/c ducts. They left dust everywhere. When we asked if the dust we could see everywhere would be cleaned, they stated it would get sealed over with spray paint instead, because he had “already brushed it”but we were watching the process and it didnt get brushed. Even that was barely done at all; half of our vents are still black and covered with dust, except now I can’t clean it myself bc it’s been caked w/spray paint. They also left dust on the floor, on our furniture, and all over our bathroom vanities, ruining our things that were on it. They stated they would cover it but only covered one piece of furniture. We attempted to contact Customer Service for a refund so i can hire a better company, and after being strung along for weeks, they said they will give us a 15% refund. I am appalled by the lack of quality assurance and the lack of customer service. I was connected to the call center manager who stated if I “had an older house” I couldn’t expect them to clean “every speck of dust”. This was very rude behavior from a customer service leadership representative and also, they didn’t even clean any specks of dust properly. I would NOT have chosen this company if I had known what services they would’ve actually provided versus what was promised, and if I’d known how terrible their customer service was.

      I utilized an online tool via the official Stanley Steemer website for a quote for services. The quote was reasonable, and I made an appointment. The day of the appointment arrived and the team member call me to verify the services, rooms etc. During the conversation, I was informed that in January 2024 the cost of carpeting cleaning in each room had increased. This has not been 'updated' by Stanley Steemer corporate on the official website. Furthermore, they advised me that deep cleaning floors in bathrooms was an additional charge and that also was not on the quote form. The purpose of a quote is to give the consumer a better idea of the projected costs. I was furious and would have cancelled the service, however, the services were needed for the home, because it's going on the market to be sold. I told the technician that I felt this was a deliberate bait and switch on their company's part. What is more, it's deceptive pricing practices to the consumer, especially retirees who live on a fixed income. The technician implored me to complain to their corporate offices, because they receive the same complaints time and again. SHAME on Stanley Steemer for this bait and switch! I had to find another $250 for services for my eldery Mother who lives on a fixed income. DO NOT USE this company!
