      The salesman has been relentless and refuses to take no for an answer. When he visited for the second time a few months ago, I spoke with him, and told him I wasnt interested because his company receives terrible customer reviews. Today, he returned for a third time and spoke to my wife, trying to convince her to change her mind. He refused to leave when she told him we werent interested. When he finally left because she told him she was going to close the door, he said hed be back in three months. At this point, we feel harassed by this salesperson because he refuses to leave us in peace. Please help.

      I met with a sales rep today for IGS Solar. I was told the paperwork I was signing was only to see if I qualified for the Program and dependent on a roofing inspection and I could back out after the inspection. I said I was not comfortable moving forward and the salesman stated that this was not a final commitment but only to move to the next step and It would not binding lease until after the inspection in 3 weeks. After receiving a copy of the documents it turns out the cancellation is 7 days from signing. The salesman lied to get me to sign and I fell for it. I have emailed copies of letter of termination per the lease and will be mailing them in the morning. I want to fully terminate this lease without penalty and file a complaint for the salesmans misleading and untruthful comments.

      Solicitor came to my home, added services and charges to my account/bill without my authorization. I call the next day, to cx and let them know I was upset about the fact they added charges without my authorization- my name is ONLY name on bill/account.Then I received my bill and the charges were showing on my bill.They say it can take 1 or 2 billing cycles to remove charges. But it takes less than 24 hours to add and bill for UNAUTHORIZED services.I do not wish to do business with a company that is unethical and has ZERO customer service.I want to cancel ALL ******************** with this company ASAP.I feel like they are taking advantage of senior citizens by adding unauthorized charges to my account.

      Description: Representative misrepresented the facts. He told me that *** ****** is the electric aggregate provider for Greene Count. He told me that an unauthorized request had been submitted to switch our electrical provider. He offered to undo that unauthorized request and restore us to the aggregate electric program. None of this is true. He misrepresented the fact to fool me into signing a contract with IGS. I have mailed a notice of cancellation. I will be calling IGS to confirm the contract is rescinded.

      The more power the solar panel makes the more money they charge monthly. I would think the more power generated it should be less also taking advantage of a 81 year old man and locking him into a 25 yr contract I don't believe he understood what type of program they were selling.

      In withdrawal from the checking account you don't see any remarks on what the payment is for and the latter dates if you take notice as the price increases due to the solar panels generating more power

      I have to say that I find this extremely unsettling that a customer service company such as yourself is unwilling to accommodate and/or work with any new potential customer to make them feel as though IGS Solar is a company willing to entertain satisfying a customer and work with them to make them comfortable signing your contract. With how un-customer service oriented you are there is NOT one willing party that will sign over a contract in their name with your terms. It says a lot about your company. This gentleman is willing but also had some legitimate reasons to hesitate with the company’s unwillingness to even accommodate his concerns listed below. Message from buyer: I have notified My realtor that I opt not to transfer this agreement for several reasons including IGS’s inability to provide firm price for R&R, IGS wants to charge me for power not produced while panels are removed to redo the roof yet they need 6-8 weeks notice to reinstall, IGS would not negotiate a cap rate not to exceed PPL’s going rate, IGS will not guarantee roof penetrations during the life of the contract, IGS “may” opt to leave its panels on my roof after the term of the agreement… Issue #1 I believe the sellers disclosure indicated the roof was installed in 1982. Issue #2 IGS would not provide me a firm price to remove and replace the Solar to have the roof replaced. Issue #3 IGS’s contract says they will charge me for the electric that cannot produce while the panels are removed yet they need 6-8 weeks to schedule reinstall from the time roof is replaced. Stated it will be at my cost on top of paying them for energy not generated during the time frame stating would range from $2,000 to $12,000 Issue #4 IGS will not cap their electric rate such that it does not exceed the going rate of PPL. Issue #5 IGS System’s roof penetration will be watertight for a period of 5 years. Item #6 IGS will not guarantee that the panels will be removed at the end of the term of the contract, and they “may” just leave them on my roof.

      4-16-2024 Mr. *** ***** **. Territory Manager igs energy **** *** ** **** ***** *** *********** ** ***** *** ******* visited my home to report my account charges with West Penn Power and Peoples Gas were variable rates rather than fixed. Mr. ***** asked if I prefer fixed rate. I informed Mr. ***** I want to remain customer with West Penn Power and Peoples but prefer a fixed rate. Mr. ***** stated I would remain with WPP and Peoples, only change would be variable rate to fixed rate. Information Mr. ***** stated was deceptive and incorrect. ****** at Peoples Gas informed me I would not be a Peoples customer if enroll with igs. Per my request ****** cancelled enrollment with igs. I also cancelled igs with West Penn Power. 4-18-2024 I spoke with Brook at igs energy ********** *nstructed Brook to cancel any and all enrollment services immediately. I am remaining a customer with West Penn Power and Peoples Gas. Cancellation # for igs to continue with Peoples Gas ENG *******. igs energy Cancellation # to remain with West Penn Power ********.

      IGS does show IGS being removed from your People and West Penn accounts.
      To Clarify People Natural Gas and West Penn would remain your utility companies read your meters, deliver your gas/electric and bill you like that also have.  IGS would be your supplier and appear on the utility bill.  Utility cannot lock in a fixed rate. This is the benefit of a supply.

      I called and opt out of there program never having it, and told the representative I was staying with duke energy in January 2024 . I also let the representative know never to contact me again take me off there mailing list . I do not want there service. I get a bill with IGS energy as my supplier ,why ? It’s like they just dismissed what I said and forced me to go with them as my provider . I called after looking at my bill and was billed from February-March then was told they see where I opt out in January,but didn’t understand why I was added for service. I also was told I could call duke energy to tell them I want there service . Why is IGS making this issue mine? I did my due diligence.please take action and help the consumers to not be taking advantage of by these type companies by forcing you to call and opt out only to be made to take there services without your permission after opting out. How am I protected when a representative states they don’t see any note of my call? I did not sign a contract with IGS energy not did I give verbal consent. They suppose to have recorded lines please review.Please and thank you

      IGS is the City of ********** aggregation supplier.  IGS does not show the customer called IGS in January of 2024 to opt-out.  IGS does show the cancellation being processed as of 04/17/2024.  IGS did place the account on our DNS list this will stop any further contract with IGS.
