      The property has hired contractors to do work who are unable to or unwilling to complete it. This has caused them, apogee management, to displace residents from being able to access the property including both owners and renters. The work by the contractors is not being complete when promised and is being contracted to be done on days when apogee management is closed so there is no help being provided by the management company to its residents. Also the man who is in charge of the company’s properties is unwilling to assist as a manager but instead is abusive and dismissive.

      Hi,

      I hoping this complaint will be removed. Reason for the request is, we as the property manager do not have control over the dates and vendors used by the condo association, this is a board decision.  The work being completed was sealcoating of the asphalt parking areas. We did communicate the date of the work, unfortunately it rained on both 7/15 and 7/16 and had to be rescheduled for the area this unit owner lives in. In addition, the contractor posted notices on each door to provide notice of the work. The unit owners were asked to park on the public street adjacent to the community which would entail a short walk to their homes during the day the day the work was being done.  The next morning when dry it was opened back up for the unit owners.    

      It was rescheduled for Saturday 7/20 as that was the first day no rain was forecasted. I have attached the email communications that went out to every unit owner.  We do maintain an emergency number and the person who complained never called that number and it is staffed on 24/7.

      I only had one phone call that I recall related to this matter, and I asked several times what they would like us to do to address their concerns and make it right and she would not answer just wanted to tell us we were incompetent, she then hung up and filed the complaints.  She also has posted a 1 star google review for us and there is not a way to communicate with Google to address it.

      Hi I noticed the desired outcome was contact to the individual.  I am ok doing so but did not want to do so unless this is what BBB suggests.  If that is the I should do is it possible for someone at BBB to participate in that call?  I think it would be very beneficial if BBB could do so.

      I am rejecting this response because: 
      As a management company they say they have no control but also in the response said I should have called them. For what if they have no control. This company continually has taken no ownership of the part they played in this fiasco. 
      the reason I ended the conversation is he told me flat out if I wasn’t going to listen to him he was ending the conversation. He talked over me the whole time and his only solution was to have me ask to end the work being done and inconvenience myself and my neighbors even longer. In total in took over 48 hours of no access by vehicle to my neighborhood and home.

      The person who responded is also the second in charge of this company.
