In May of 2022 we contacted ****** ****** to give us an estimate for a new front lawn He came out gave us a price and a guarantee that we would have the lawn we discussed. In that guarantee he said that if the lawn did not come in he would rip it up and redo. He wanted us to be satisfied. He came out and did the initial job, however the lawn did not come in. At the time that he did the initial service we paid him in full 3000$. He then came back out threw down some additional seed and never came back. We had several texts and left several messages he would respond saying he would come back but never did. We still have no lawn and are out 3000.00$. He has never tried to reach out to us again to make things right. We did attempt to reach him by certified mail but he never accepted the letters. Then we attempted a small claims suit that never went anywhere because if he does not accept the courts letters he can’t be held liable. So in short people like him can screw over people like me and get away with it. We hired him to help out a small business owner and look what that got us. A big FAT NOTHING. I work hard for my money and don’t have the luxury to just throw it away

RECEIVED VIA PHONE BY BBB STAFF MEMBER:

The consumer has stated that the business has not followed through on their resolution. When they did not contact the consumer at the beginning of the month, she waited a couple weeks before calling. When she did reach the business, the stated they would come out last Wednesday to follow-upon her resolution. No one showed up. The consumer attempted to call the business several times and on the last try, she noticed they changed their voicemail. At this time the consumer no longer wants the business to return to finish the job and is asking for a full refund.

Customer was contacted. We tried to redo the work as stated however with rain it was to wet. Company phone broke so it was replaced and in return had to make a new voice mail. The yard was scheduled to be completely redone 5/23/2023. Placed markers where new topsoil was to be dumped. Received a text message 5/20/2023 stating she did not want our services even though she agreed to May. Offered half of money back
