1 starWe had a great in store experience. We set up our delivery time. The delivery team arrived. They told my husband they would drive around the block and back in the driveway. We had clear pathways on the drive leading to the door. In the meantime, without this knowledge, I received a phone call from Ashley’s stating that our oathways weren’t clear, and they were rescheduling us for 3 days later (leaving us without furniture for 3 days). I talked to Chrystal and Andrew at Ashley’s regarding this matter, however, after these phone calls, mine and my husband’s phone calls went straight to voicemail. Same when calling other numbers and using the online chat feature. I am disappointed with the passive aggressive tactics used, unprofessionalism, and the lying and laziness of the delivery team. Have used Ashley’s since 2009 in different states and had great experiences. Have not been treated like this. Will sadly take my business elsewhere in the future.Review fromKrista D

1 starI made a purchase on 8-15-24 for $5000 worth of furniture and was told it would be three weeks for delivery, We are now six weeks out and I can't get anyone to tell me anything about my order. You can't get in contact with anyone and the salesman will not call you back. I would not recommend.Review fromHeather H

1 starWe ordered $10k worth of furniture, one being a purple mattress. I didn’t like it after one day and asked to return for a different purple mattress. They say we can’t return it unless we buy a $140 purple pillow and a mattress protector from them. What sense does that make?! They would rather lose out on a $10k purchase than to replace a mattress that I planned to still buy from them. 100% don’t recommend. This is also something that should be verbally mentioned before purchase.Review fromeileen l

1 starI purchased a dinette set from Ashley table and 4 chairs. I think wood - who knows- not a solid color must be stained. Chairs are wood frame beige/white upholstery. The stain on chairs in small areas just gone, rim of table top same stain is disappearing and turning black spots in areas or fading. Tech came out said he could touch up chairs but could not do table because it was manufacturing problem. I would not let him do chairs until we know what will be with table. Here is first response from report: He tightened table legs - not in my house. No problem with legs. They said you had somythings on top of your table? It’s a table and what did that have to do with rim? Well she said, your clothes or when you walk by could be rubbing the rim, you could clean it with something that rubbed it off. First of all you couldn’t touch the table walking by because the four chair block the table so you can’t get close. Also, the base if the table prevents the chairs from being pushed under so the chairs can’t even touch it. I’m 76 my spouse 80 we just purchased this in January and most of the time we don’t eat home or eat at the table. The people that called me back were very nice and I said I know you are just repeating what your leaders tell you to say but it is silly, dumb to say my sweater or clothes rubbed it off. So yes when I said that while infuriated by owning this for only 3/4 months they would ridiculous reasons. And then found out corporate Ashley own store Morris franchised it and while searchyfor franchise owner I came across horrible reviews on this site. Buyer beware. And not one person gave me an answer about checking with tech that said it was a manufacturing problem? Or addressing the fact he said he tightened legs? No one stands behind anything since covid - it’s unbelievable! I know my conversation did not end well because I told the lady to tell the powers that be they are dumb and idiots with the reasoning. I wouldn’t do business with them ever.Review fromIcilda D

1 starAshley Furniture 2339 Taylor Park Dr. Reynoldsburg, OH. Purchased a mattress and the price was reduced before delivery. I contacted the store and did not reach the sales representative until after delivery. The price of the mattress was reduced by $200 and I requested to have the new sale price applied to my account. I have talked to numerous Ashley furniture staff and some of them with the title "manager" to no avail. There have been various scenarios of why I cannot receive the sale price from the different store staff I spoke to. Poor customer service and do not honor their policies on refunding customers the difference if the item goes on sale within 30 days of purchase. One manager Pete was very considerate and seemed to try to rectify the situation. However, I received a call from Fatima who started the call with a negative tone, therefore my tone also adjusted to negative as well. I would never purchase from this cheap store again. I want other consumers to be aware of their lack of integrity in honoring price reduction policies.Review fromKatelin S

1 starStaff sold furniture to me and told me it was real leather when infact it was not. The style I was purchasing was being discontinued so I agreed to take show room floor model and signed a “as is” form which I received a copy of. The minor damages noted on the furniture in store was documented. Upon delivery, none of those damages noted in store was visible on the furniture delivered to my house. Further damages were done to the furniture such as the “leather” was pealing, the frame was bent, the arm of the chair was stripped through the frame and broke, the recliner doesn’t fold up completely due to the frame being bent. Store was contacted within 3 days of delivery and was told to speak with customer care. Customer care is denying to send a technician out to fix damages and said if they did I was reliable for fees 100$/hr. I seemed to have fallen through a loop hole because I agreed to take show room model and got sent different furniture than store floor model, I’m stuck. Very unhappy customer and no not recommend the public to spend their hard working money on such a fraudulent company!Review fromMarcus S

1 starI ordered a sofa and 2 recliners from Ashley Home Furniture. When they delivered the furniture, one of the recliners would not operate correctly. I called the store and was transferred to their customer care dept. Delivery was on a Wednesday, and their repairman came on Monday. When he looked at the recliner, he said that the entire mechanism was bent, and would have to be replaced. He said that he would recommend replacing the recliner as opposed to fixing it, but that Ashley normally ships a new mechanism, and that I would have to call and make an appointment to have it fixed. I called the store the very next morning, and spoke with the manager. I requested a refund, and was told that I had had the furniture too long for aa refund. I explained to him that it was broken when I received it, but was again told that I had it too long as per their agreement. He did make a new chair happen, which is supposed to be delivered in 3 days, but still, I will NEVER shop there again! Its also unfortunate that anyone is unable to contact Ashley directly to complain. BUYER BEWARE!Review fromMyra B

I wish I would have read the reviews before shopping at Ashley store in Reynoldsburg. The sofa was damaged in 2 places. I sent photos as directed by store. No reply after days. Went to store in person. Got the same around. Finally got a call from a repair place. I told them this could not be repaired. My salesman said he would make it right. When I still heard nothing I went to the store again. Found out my salesman was no longer there. Manager called repair place, on hold 38 minutes to find out it would be 2 weeks before they could come. I told the manager to cancel sale and refund my money. But first I have to wait until someone from Customer Care calls me to set up a time to come and get the damaged couch. And then they will charge me $99 to take it away. It is not like I changed my mind. It is their fault the delivery guys damaged the couch, and I have to pay $99 for their carelessness? Worse customer service I have ever delt with.Ashley HomeStore Fairborn

Terrible experience. Bought a table and chairs in a box. When we opened the box, the table was broken on one corner. Took pictures and tried and tried to get an exchange. There is no customer service to talk to. I went to the store personally and they said they would have someone call me. Day after day, no calls. We had to finally contact our credit card company to retrieve our payment. Ashley loves to sell you furniture but if you have a problem, they do not care. I have a broken table now and will have to go buy another table. I’ll never walk in there again.Ashley HomeStore Fairborn

Shame I have to give Ashley in Cincinnati a one star because they do not deserve that high of a rating. Purchased leather section. The delivery men tore the back of the couch. I took pictures and sent to my salesman immediately. One of the recliners squeaks loudly when used. I was told the parts would be replaced. Instead they sent a repairman who did absolutely nothing. He told me as soon as the parts came in he would fix it. THIS WAS NOVEMBER 2020!! I gave away a couch in better condition than this torn piece of $5,000 garbage. Do not buy a dog house from Ashley Home Furnishing.Ashley HomeStore Fairborn

Morris Home Furniture has reviewed the customer's response. We apologize for the delivery and service experience and would like to see if we can assist with this issue. We have verified that a technician completed an in home service appointment on 12/17/2021 and they confirmed that parts needed to be ordered to replace the damaged areas. This manufacturer does require the serial number to complete any parts orders and this was not obtained during that service call. We have reached out to the customer at the email provided directly requesting this information to move forward with ordering parts and assisting in resolving this issue.
