    We decided to change garage door for 2+1 cars in our family house in January 2022 with Brothers garage doors. Stephan Winkle the owner esteemed it $5000 and took deposit of $2500 on February 7 2022 through quickbooks. We also wanted to change doors in entire house so he said there company does it and estimated our new doors $10000. He took deposit of $5000 from us on March 10 2022 and deposited to his account right away. Stephan was offering to pay cash to make it easier, but we wrote a check. After taking our money $7500 total he promised it to arrive on April 24 2022. After that he didn’t pick up phone, if picking up said he is busy or driving and usually texted back. Me and my husband both tried to contact him and he said only the garage door arrived and inner doors still in transition. We asked him to go ahead and install garage door but he said no to it. No garage doors until inside doors arrive. Even knowing it’s two different agreements and transactions. After that it was even harder to rich out to him. He said he is not interested in answering my or my husband massages. We offered him to come back and do the job without bringing any emotion. We asked him politely to return money few weeks later. He said he need 12 weeks to do it. He vanished after that. We didn’t get a product and he stole from us $7500.

    We paid in full for a garage door and opener to be installed. We have a receipt. They will not answer and have not did anything. And will not refund us. It was supposed to be completed early July.

    Date of transaction: 12/21/21 Install new double garage door and hardware. Installer has not initiated the job and has cancelled installation dates (3) times. Installer has not attempted to resolve the problem.

    I contracted with Brothers Garage Doors to  replace a double garage door on 12/12/21. I was invoiced for 35% of the job cost with no time limits as to paying the balance due. The estimated delivery time was 12 to 14 weeks. Seven months and many unanswered emails and phone messages later, I was told the hardware was in. After (3) installation dates were missed (not cancelled) the doors arrived. In questioning the owners(installers) about the schedule, I was challenged by both individuals...."Did I want the installation or not!" They stated that they'd leave and invoice me for the uncompleted job! I said to install the door. After installation I asked for them to invoice me which they did electronically before leaving the driveway. The invoice required payment before the end of that day. I stated that I wanted to cycle the door to look for problems and would pay the invoice the next day. They responded that if payment was not forthcoming that day, they would repossess the door the next morning. I told them I would pay the invoice the next day and warmed them no to trespass! Their response was that their attorney was notified and a mechanics lean would be filed! To avoid further conflict, The invoice was paid! A very BAD experience!
