I went and bought new tires from ******* in Findlay on Saturday December, 11 that cost $1300.00 , after they put them on when it was time to pay I was told I had bad ball joints and gave me an estimate of $1500 to fix them and do the alignment that couldn't be done because I had bad parts supposedly. Tireman ordered the parts and was going to fix it on Tuesday December 14. I just bought the truck about a month ago and was having a hard time believing I was sold an unsafe vehicle so I took it back to the dealership and it was confirmed by the service manager that the ball joints were in fact not bad at all and he took me out into the shop and showed me. While I was there I called Tireman and had the service manager talk to him and he explained it to the manager. I in turn spoke with the manager and he apologized Andis giving me a free alignment but to me that is not enough because I almost spent an additional $1500 dollars I did not need to spend. I was planning on taking a second vehicle to them for tires but I am through with them if they are going to do shady business like this and try to get more money from people that they don't need to spend .I have done a lot of business with Tireman I the past but they lost me as a customer now because of this and I plan on posting more complaints to warn people about how Tireman does business.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/12/20) */ I met with *** at the Findlay store to examine his vehicle for the recommended repairs. During inspection, he agreed that the ball joints were loose and is satisfied with our response. Consumer Response /* (2000, 7, 2021/12/20) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) The technician took me into the shop and showed me the process they used to check the ball joints and showed me that they were in fact bad. Tireman gave me a free alignment and 200 dollars off if a set of tires for my other vehicle. The dealership used another method for checking the ball joints and did not determine they were bad, according to the way they checked them they were good. I in turn explained to the dealership how Tireman checked them and they did check them the same way and confirmed they were bad. The dealership is paying for them to be fixed since they were bad when I bought the truck.
