    This company cheated us out of hundreds of dollars. We called them about our septic alarm, continuing to go off. When they came out, they told us we needed a new pump. We paid for a new pump and it was installed incorrectly. The float was so high that the septic would’ve been backing up into the house before it would’ve reached the float. Additionally, the septic alarm continued to go off when we contacted them about this. They explained that we needed a new septic panel when we reached out to them to see if we could only have the timer replaced instead of the entire panel it was difficult to get anyone to return our phone call, we had to call another company to come out and fix the poorly installed pump that Septek put in And they were able to identify that the issue the entire entire time was not a pump issue or a panel issue but a wiring issue that SepTek didn’t even check. The most infuriating piece of this is when I called SepTek To inquire about getting some of our money refunded since the problem was incorrectly diagnosed, and we had to pay someone else to fix their installation. The woman that I spoke to lied several times about being able to see and access notes, the services, and charges. Zero accountability was taken and she spoke to me very rude. Nothing was done to correct the situation and we are left losing out on hundreds of dollars.

    This customer called us with an alarm issue. We went out to pull the pump and upon doing so we found that the pump was locked up. The customer had a choice to get a new one installed or not. The customer excepted the estimate to replace the pump. We replaced the pump for them. On 9/6/24 the customer called stating that alarm was going off, we then created a service call ticket and went back out. We corrected the issue for the customer. The customer then called on 9/17/24 to say that the alarm was going off. We created another service ticket and upon going out we discovered that there was an electrical issue that is causing the alarm to go off. We then sent our electrician out that we subcontract with out, he went out to find the issue. The electrician shared with the customer the issue and the cost for the timer, as well as us trying to find a more reasonable price for the part. Customer declined the repair. The electrician did not charge the Huffman's any fee. The two service calls that Septek made to the customer also was not charged. The customer was spoken to every single time they called, The husband mostly was the one calling up until Nicole wanted to call and ask to get a refund of some sort. There is no way the new company would have known if the pump was bad or not due to the old pump that was locked up not being present at the home. The new pump was installed and the new company they had come out was looking at the new pump we installed. The rudeness definitely was from Nicole. After I shared with her that we did all we could and went over and beyond for the Huffman's, as we do with all our customers, she then wanted to tell me that I was a ***** and hung up on me. Very rude in my opinion. I'm sorry for the inconvenience with the situation and that you feel you were over charged. They did receive a new pump that they agreed to and paid for.

    Septek Services called us and asked us to help them with digital advertising. They agreed to $500, we delivered, they have not paid! It has been nearly 7 months…no payment, we plan on filing through Small Claims court. Tried to give them the benefit of the doubt… if you did not have the money, you shouldn’t have hired us. Not trustworthy, would definately not reccommend.
