    According to complaints filed with BBB, consumers attend presentations conducted by various resort companies during which they are offered a timeshare package.  The packages include an annual membership with VSI that can be used to sell another timeshare the consumer already owns, to exchange the newly purchased timeshare for travel to another timeshare destination, or to convert timeshare points into cash by renting their unused points for profit.  

    VSI responds to complainants dissatisfied with the service by indicating that the resort companies are responsible for sales representations and the cost of the VSI program was only $199 - $349 of the total purchase price.  VSI sometimes issues refunds of this fee to resolve disputes and refers other concerns back to the business that sold the package.

      I called and spoke with Josh. I explained to him my situation and my express concern about selling this property swiftly. I was told the fee was $599 and they would put it on their main page. I have called every month since June with no resolve. I finally was informed to lower the price. I was only given an invoice and no details about the selling process. I looked on their website and there are several rental properties; HOWEVER NONE FOR SALE. I was NEVER put on their "Main" page. I was given false hope and did not received full details until after I, OF COUSRE paid $599. This may be a good company for rental vacations, but they are DISHONEST and for no other reason other than GREED they took my money under false hope and pretenses. I want my money back. This man understood these were dire conditions and assured me this was my way out.

      The information this client has provided is false. VSI has been marketing her membership since July and expecting her membership sell quickly, which we have explained that we can not control the market, but will do our best to advertise. Since then the client has told us she was “behind on payments” and it was explained that she will have to pay her bill in order to transfer ownership. That is the only way the resort will allow a transfer to take place. Her membership was placed on the homepage of our website til 8/31/24, which she was informed of the expiration date when we provided her that upgrade free of charge. While we understand that she is having a hard time with her membership fees, we are still marketing her membership as agreed. Please feel free contact me if you have any further questions.

      10/4/2022 Contract to sell our timeshare. We were told timeshare should sell quickly due to it being close to Christmas. $299 was collected. No communication on how sale was going has ever been discussed to us, I have had to reach out to see how thing were going and response was very poor or none at all. I had tried to post pictures on their site which have still not been approved so they have not even been posted which was months ago. I last reached out April 5th and still have had no response from company. I want a full refund on my $299 as they are not doing anything for the sale of my timeshare.
