      I made a payment on the card before the due date. Kemba pushed the payment date ahead 4 days. Thus, according to Kemba, the payment is "late" and issued a $25.00 late fee. Regardless of the ACH network, this payment was made "on time" by me. The rep offered to reverse the fee as a "courtesy". That implies i made an error. There is no error on my part.

      Thank you for your feedback. Our records indicate we have discussed your concern and feedback and have adjusted your late fee. All of our credit card payments are due the 26th of each month. If a payment is made from another bank via ACH, processing time may delay the delivery and posting of your payment even if initiated at your bank prior to our due date. We would be happy to discuss an internal transfer from an established KEMBA account to ensure the payment is made by the due date.

      Kemba forces you to open and deposit $5 into a savings account even when you only want a checking account. Then when you close the checking account, they will tell you it's better to leave the unused savings account open so you stay in their system. They do not tell you that they will close your savings account if you don't use it and take the $5 they made you put in it! What a ripoff!!!

      This bank is kind of a joke. The mobile app is awful, the rules on deposits are ridiculous, and their overall service is terrible. They clearly lost what made them a decent bank 20 years ago.

      Hello,My biggest concerns are why *************************** spoke in the manner that she did, disrespected my mother and I who have both been Kemba members over 10 years. Shes been a kemba member over 20 years. ******* was wrong, rude, nasty disrespectful and mocked both of us while she degraded us over the phone as we asked simple questions.Im also still not getting a clear answer on to why my accounts were closed. Im not sure why it took a year to even get a response. My history points and shows I had a very strong history with kemba before all this happened. Bills and loans were paid on time, everything had always been in good standing. Why just get rid of accounts without analyzing my history and accounts throughly. How does ones account get shutdown without warning and not be able to appeal anything or get a proper truthful answer. Its sad to see how kemba really handles and treats their valued customer. This whole ordeal has been handled horrible and unprofessionally. Has ******* been addressed about this situation, nobody should ever feel or deserve to be treated how ******* treated valued customers that day. Honestly ***************** its a shame I even have to press this issue with you and kemba, you are the head of risk managment and you dont seem to care or see this as an issue or concern. Im sure I can speak to someone above you to maybe get more help since Im getting the runaround. Someone needs to go listen to how ******* spoke to us over the phone, someone needs to take accountability for her actions and words. I wouldnt recommend kemba to anyone at this point. They will give you false information and false hope, theyll also speak to you and degrade you over the phone when an issue comes upon and they surely wont return your call or make you a priority.
